Located in the picturesque mountain village of Vico Pancellorum, this house is a beautiful rustic Italian property with original features such as terracotta tiled floors, chestnut wooden beams, and stone staircases, all of which have all been restored and create a wonderful backdrop for the vintage & mid-century furniture throughout.
A wonderful terrace with beautiful views offers guests a place to relax, dine al fresco, or enjoy an aperitivo shaded by the grape vine overhead.
The Space:
Accommodation over three floors: living room with dining area, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers and 3 double bedrooms - the green, pink, and blue rooms, each room with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. In cooler months, the house is heated by two wood burning stoves which add to the cosiness and welcoming feel.
The views from each room are spectacular, whether sitting with a coffee in the kitchen or lounging in bed with a good book, you cannot escape this stunning scenery. Outside is a common terrace but you have exclusive use of the area under the beautiful pergola with grapevine (the oldest in the village we believe) here you can relax and enjoy the wonderful views.
We believe we have created a home in which guests can relax, switch off and slow down for a short while.
A stay in Vico Pancellorum is magical, whether simply relaxing, dining at the tasty and popular village restaurant (Buca Di Baldabo) or exploring many of the walking and hiking trails.

The Location:
The nearest large town to Vico Pancellorum is Bagni Di Lucca, approximately 25 minutes’ drive away. Here you will find supermarkets, banks, pharmacies etc. Bagni Di Lucca has many historical points of interest, not least its hot springs and thermal baths. Vico Pancellorum is a great base for visiting many other Tuscan towns and cities in this area.
A car is necessary to truly appreciate this area of Tuscany, however, there is a local bus service from Bagni Di Lucca to Vico Pancellorum, one bus each way in the summer with more options during the year when schools are open.
Please note - This is a remote mountain village with an approx 5km uphill drive on narrow winding roads, which buses, tractors and work vehicles use daily, it may seem daunting but is perfectly normal to reach many of the beautiful villages in this region. The route through the village is pedestrian only with various parking areas around the village.
