BELLARIA SUITE is one of the most spacious, light-filled, elegant and comfortable apartments presently available in the metropolitan area of Bologna. It is located in the very heart of San Lazzaro di Savena urban center, no more than 1.5 kms to Bellaria Hospital, 12 minutes to the Historical Center of Bologna with frequent, direct city bus service. Surrounded by stores, shops, restaurants and pizzerias, bars, ice cream parlors, all at a stone's throw, with easy-to-find, on-street safe parking this beautiful apartment is the ideal solutions for those willing to enjoy only the best of city life.

A third floor of a recent building, BELLARIA SUITE enjoys a very nice view over the Bolognese hills and is extremely quiet. Thoroughly refurbished in 2016 with select materials, about 180 square meters in size, elegantly furnished and decorated, it is surrounded by a communal garden interspersed with tall trees and features two furnished terraces that are ideal for an evening cocktail, a dinner or just sitting al fresco. Privacy, comfort and safety are granted by noise-proof, anti-intrusion windows, a very sturdy door and a safe. The apartment has been designed so not to have any architectonic barriers and features an hoist-elevator for a wheelchair.

BELLARIA SUITE can accommodate up to 13 adults and 1 child in 3 bedrooms plus living room and more. The layout is as follows:

This is a light, spacious property in a pleasant residential area.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a residential building in a town about 5 miles from Bologna city centre. There is a lift for luggage only. San Lazzaro is a quiet town, but has a great restaurant (Tomi’s) and ice cream shops, a lovely cafe just round the corner (La Reppublica) and local supermarkets. The apartment was very clean. The kitchen is modern with a large fridge/freezer. The bedrooms are simply furnished. Some of the electric sockets are loose and adaptors don’t fit in them. A travel mirror may be useful if lots of people staying. One bathroom is of a higher standard than the other. The flat is actually two flats made into one, so the decor is different at each end. There is heating which was welcome when we visited. 3 small balconies are pleasant and at least one has some sunshine for most of the day. Communication with the owners was good. Pino took us to the train station when we were leaving, which was very kind. We used local buses which were very regular and not difficult. You can buy tickets from the kiosk in the main square (1 ticket for 10 journeys €12). Bus 19 goes directly to city centre. We would have preferred to have been in the centre of Bologna but couldn’t find an apartment to accommodate all of us there. However, transport into Bologna was not a problem. We stayed for 6 nights. We did a couple of day trips to Ravenna and Venice by train. Also very easy. 3 days is more than enough to see Bologna and it’s nice to see other cities too. There is an Aerobus between the airport and train station and left luggage facility at station (€6 per bag).

Not to be missed

We enjoyed a 6 night stay in this amazingly comfortable, clean and very large apartment in the San Lazzaro section of Bologna, a very handy location just a few minutes from the centre. Our host, Licia, was most helpful allowing us an early check-in and giving us plenty of information about the city. The apartment is clean, quiet and has plenty of light. Any requests were quickly and politely dealt with by Pino, Licia's husband.

While San Lazzaro is not a big city, there is lots to see and this apartment is a short walk from all the major attractions. Connections with all sections of Bologna are very good, with an inexpensive, reliable public transporation system taking you everywhere and running 24/24.

Highly recommended.

Volevo visitare alcuni cugini che abitano in zona per alcuni giorni, cercavo di prendere la stanza di un hotel ma I rezzi sembravano un po alti per il numero di giorni che pensavo trascorrere assieme a questi parenti, un amico che abita in zona ha suggerito di cercare nel sito dove mettono a disposizione appartamenti arredati per affittare.

Ho cosi trovato questo meraviglioso appartamento Bellaria Suite, a poca distanza dai miei parenti, il prezzo molto conveniente rispetto all'hotel e l'ambiente interno con mobile e arredamento in generale superior a qualsiasi aspettativa.

In conclusion io voglio scrivere quanto sopra per dare un'indicazione a coloro I quali avessero necessita' di un allogio per qualsiasi motive, anche turistico a poca distanza da Bologna

Perfekte Wohnung!!

Wunderbare Wohnung: groß, hell geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit allen Komfort ausgestattet (es gibt sogar einen Behindertenlift) und sehr sauber! Gut gelegen im Zentrum von San Lazzaro von wo aus man auch schnell und bequem die Stadtmitte Bolognas erreichen kann. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
