Perfectly situated in Mid-Devon you will be able to experience the best of the county. For a full day out the famous North Devon beaches at Croyde Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are further afield and similarly the pretty seaside villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are well-worth a visit. Closer to home the immediate area offers great walks and picture-postcard villages to explore such as Chulmleigh seven miles away and Knowstone renowned for being the home of a well-known village pub. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Exmoor Dartmoor the beautiful cathedral city of Exeter the English Riviera the stunning South Hams and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Entering the property you will immediately find yourself in the spacious and fabulously light entrance hall with a lovely church bench table football and a darts board. Ascending the spectacular staircase and onto the first floor you will find a lovely mezzanine games area with seating and pool table and this also provides a convenient extra lounge area should anyone want to read quietly. From here step into the stunning lounge/kitchen/diner with vaulted ceiling original beams large oak dining table large glass windows and French doors to outside. This great social living space also boasts cosy sofas sat in front of a TV/DVD and a warming flame effect electric fire; and a selection of books games DVDs and an iPod dock are provided for your entertainment. The kitchen area is also well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Venturing back down the stairs and onto the ground floor a useful utility room with washer/dryer has also been provided and is located by the separate study room with a desk leather chair and extensive views of the countryside. The rest of the accommodation comprises the beautiful bedrooms and these firstly consist of a master bedroom with super-king-size bed TV/DVD separate dressing room and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath separate shower and WC. Then a king-size bedroom with French doors to outside and en-suite shower room with WC a further spacious king-size with French doors to outside and finally a pretty twin bedroom. A family bathroom with shower over bath and WC and then a further separate WC complete the offering inside the property. The outside space consists of the large balcony accessed from the living area with panoramic countryside views and garden furniture. Private off-road parking for four cars is provided on the driveway directly outside.

We have just stayed at the property in early December and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We were a family group of seven so used all of the bedrooms and facilities within the property. We loved the layout of the house and the way that it is presented and we were able to enjoy the large open plan living space at first floor level.
The one thing we did say was that the heating could be improved upon to the main bedroom and living areas - in short the property is crying out for a log burner!
We still enjoyed our stay immensely.
