Schuss 301 is situated in Val Claret, the highest village in Tignes.It is no more than 200 metres from virtually all the shops/bars/restaurants and is approximately 400 metres from the ski lifts providing access to the Grande Motte Glacier and the Espace Killy ski area. Situated on the third floor ,the south west facing balcony looks up to the Glacier and the pistes. The apartment has been finished to a high standard internally with a double bedroom, bunk room and sofa bed to the lounge. The shower room is finished in French Limestone and the kitchen has everything you need after a hard day on the slopes. The main bedroom has views over the mountains/golf course and lake. On the ground floor there is a ski locker and ski boot room with lockers belonging to the apartment. There is free wifi in the apartment and freeview providing numerous Uk and French TV channels
The apartment is close to shops/restaurants/lifts but is far enough away that there are no noise issues late at night when the local wildlife gets into full voice. In summer there are plentiful opportunities for golfers, walkers, watersports, sailing, summer skiing and tennis.

Thank you for a great week, we would definately stay again. We were meet promptly by Gary's local representative on our arrival. The apartment met all expectations. The kitchen was well equipped. The on site boot room and ski room made storing equipment easy. You can park right outside the door to 'unload' your car. With windows on 3 sides of the apartment, it is light and airy with good views. Shops, restuarants and bars are all on your doorstep. Easy 12 minute walk to the lifts.
As we were travelling with young children (7 months and 2.5 years), Gary recommended Snow Babies (www.snow-babies.com) for any baby/toddler equipment needs. This service was sensational and we hired a 'bed guard' for the bunk bed and a highhchair, however you can also get prams, clothing, cots etc.
Our 2.5 year old spent the mornings 9 to 1300 at ski school (www.skione-marmottons.com), she had a great time and spent at least 2 hours a day on the slopes. This is one of the only resorts in EU we have found to cater ski lessons to this age group.
Great apartment with the two bedrooms and all facilities. Walk to lifts is around 5 minutes so not too far. Overall great.
Well located apartment close to the centre of Tignes Val Claret. Easy access to lifts, shops and bars. The apartment provided everything we needed and combined with great snow and bright sunshine ensured a fantastic holiday.
This was my second trip to Tignes, Val Claret and even better that the first! We were a group of 4 adult males who all like to maximise time on the slopes as much as possible when away. As it’s so high (up to 3500M!) this resort has an amazing snow record and you can frequently ski here when there’s no snow anywhere else! Gary the apartment owner was very helpful and gave some good recommendations and the benefit of his superior local knowledge! The location is great, close to the parking and a short walk from everything, including most importantly the ski lifts, and with amazing views! Val Claret is a great village with good bars and restaurants, plenty of ski hire facilities and a great supermarket that’s about a 3 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment itself was great. It was comfortable, clean and compact (all apartments are), nevertheless we had everything we needed and successfully cooked in for two of the 7 night stay, not for lack of nice places to go I hasten to add, but purely because we had skied so much in truly excellent conditions that we were too shattered to go out! There was very useful secure ski locker and boot room at ground floor level so none of the heavy stuff needed go in the lift or clutter up the apartment! We had a great week, good snow, excellent skiing and I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and I look forward to next year, mind you it’s still very early in the season this year…. you never know !!
Stayed in schuss 301 for a week in January! First time skiing in tignes! As a group of competent skiers, we were looking for an apartment, that was close to lifts and easily accessible to pubs and restaurants! And that it was! The apartment itself was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed! When booking Gary (the owner) was very easy to get in touch with! The price was excellent! Had a great time, and thought that everything about the accommodation and surrounding village (Val Claret) were more than impressive! Will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic, bright, contemporary apartment with fabulous views and only a couple of minutes walk to shops, bars, restaurants, cinema, ski hire, lifts etc in the centre of Val Claret. Really convenient ski and boot storage by reception. We loved the convenience and the light and spacious living / dining area. For a self-catering apartment, we thought the kitchen was really well appointed and everything was clean and looked to be very freshly decorated - not a mark on the walls. Loved the natural stone tiles in the bathroom and a very generous master bedroom. Definitely feels like a much more spacious, modern and light apartment than many we have experienced elsewhere. We also enjoyed walking to Le Lac for dog-sledding and on to Tignes for even more bars and restaurants. The bus home was easier and quicker than a taxi. We look forward to doing it all again and would recommend this apartment to anyone!!
We were a group of 6 guys who were looking for some late season snow at altitude. The apartment was very close to all the shops/restaurants/ski hire and was about 300 metres from the ski lifts. It is larger than previous apartments we have stayed in at French purpose built resorts. The owner was helpful and responded quickly to our queries before we headed out and his in resort rep met us with the key and answered our questions. The double bedroom was a very good size and the bunks/sofa bed were comfortable. We cooked in every other night and shopped in the Sherpa supermarket 150 meters away. Thankfully the dishwasher was idiot/bloke proof so we had no problems there. If you are looking for a good value option away from catered chalets or hotels I would have no problem recommending this apartment. The skiing was excellent for this time of year although the snow was heavy by late afternoon. Tignes architecture isn't much to look at but then who goes there to look at the buildings. Hope to be back next year if allowed by my better half. Jack Mac and the boys.
Val Claret is the highest of the villages making up Tignes with arguably the best access to the ski lifts and many would argue the best night life/shops /restaurants. This very compact village has everything a serious skier would want and offers restaurants for every taste and budget. If you are travelling with children Val Claret has 2 kids ski schools and plenty of kiddy friendly restaurants. In summer Val Claret is handily placed to the golf course/lake/tennis courts/indoor leisure centre and is right beside the funicular railway for the summer skiers and mountain bike riders. A Sherpa supermarket is situated in the village centre for all your self catering needs. Most of our guests travel by car. Whilst you cannot park on the street in Tignes, the multi storey car park is only 100 metres away at a cost of 75 euros for one week. If you opt for coach/mini bus/private transfer then you can get dropped off very close to the front door. The ski train from London terminates at Bourg St Maurice and taxis are readily available to take you up to resort level. The apartment is only 100 metres from shops, 200 metres from bars/restaurants and 300/400 metres from the ski lift network. We are close enough to be handy to everything but far enough away when the bars really start to get swinging. A free bus service runs every 15 minutes connecting Val Claret with Le Lac and all its facilities including the excellent indoor family watersports centre.
