This delightful modern apartment directly overlooks secluded beach with green area and all day sun and which is 3 minutes walk with private secure access. The apartment is decorated and furnished to ensure a relaxed stay.Easy access from private car park and lift. Marble flooring throughout. Bedrooms with ample cupboard hanging/shelf space. Main bedroom has en- suite full bathroom and sliding doors onto terrace, with sea view from the bed! The other 2 bedrooms overlook community pool and garden and have mountain views. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning (heating and cooling). A shared large full bathroom with power shower. Additional small WC with washbasin. Spacious sitting / dining room with dining table seats 8 also has aircondioning unit .Two sets of sliding doors and electric blinds access terrace. TV, DVD/VCR and CD player. Very large garden terrace has ALL DAY SUN with permanent shade area and large electrically operated awning. Dining table for 6, ideal for breakfasts and evening with diffused lighting. Overlooks green area and beach with splendid sea views. Modern fully equipped kitchen.Outside laundry/drying area with washing m/c and sink. Bedlinen and towels are changed weekly free of charge.The large and beautifully lawned swimming pool is available from 15 June to 15 September.
Kindly note that normal electricity usage is included in the price. However a penalty will be charged for excessive use (eg. if aircon units have been left on carelessly with open doors or windows). Meter readings are taken on arrival and departure.
This elegant apartment block. primarily Spanish and British owner occupied, is located on a hillside facing South and overlooking a secluded beach with a select beach cafe/ restaurant..equipped with WIFI and loungers. The beach is renowned for mostly still waters and snorkelling and scuba diving. It is entirely safe for children and has a paddle boat /kayak rental facility in the summer months. The marina is 5 minutes walk (or drive) and has several good restaurants, a small supermarket, pizzeria, divng centre etc. Nearby La Herradura village with its beautiful horse shoe bay has bakeries, supermarkets, local daily mrket, banks and shops and the open beach can make a nice change. There are several attractive coves along the coast in both directions. For walkers and nature lovers we recommend fine walking areas on little used local roads or tracks in the hills behind the resort area, ideally for evening walks to see the magnificent sunsets and coastal/mountain views, and capra hispanica if you are lucky.
Almuñecar, 10 minutes drive, is an old moorish town with its castle, Roman remains, typical quarter with botanical gardens and boutiques, tapa bars and restaurants. The modern part has several family attractions including a waterpark, aquarium, parrot park, a big weekly flea market and 3 large supermarkets. A long modern promenade is good for family evening excursions and beach restaurants.
A little further on is lovely Salobreña, perched on a rocky outcrop with its own attractions, especially an excursiont to the castle top and floodlit explanade winding one's way along flower decked old moorish style narrow streets. To the West, 10 minutes drive on the motorway lie Nerja and Frigiliana, a typical moorish white hillside village.

It has everything we wanted: South facing, large terrace overlooking usually calm beach, mountain and sea views, swimming pool ideal for grandchildren, lots of light in rooms, easy parking. Proximity to Marina.

Laptop für Internetzugang mitbringen! W-Lan ist im Beach Club am Strand und in vereinzelten Restaurants im Ort vorhanden.
Die idyllisch gelegene Bucht ist ideal zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln. Das Wasser ist glasklar und sehr sauber. Liegen im Schatten kosteten nur 5,- pro Tag (im Oktober).
Vermieter sowie Kontakt vor Ort sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Insgesamt also sehr zu empfehlen.

We have just returned from two relaxing weeks at the apartment. The pool just outside the apartment was excellent and never busy. The beach is lovely and we all enjoyed swimming, snorkeling and crab fishing as well as daily icecreams from the kiosk on the beach! Car is essential for supermarket shopping and for trips out. Our two teenagers and 7 year old enjoyed the waterpark at Almunecar. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable with great views off the terrace, and the owners provided good customer service.
Me and my family spent a wonderful vacation in this apartment in La Herradura. It is absolutely a wonderful and well-equipped apartment with a fantastic view over the sea, a very nice pool area, where our kids enjoyed to swimm every afternoon during our week.

Our family enjoyed a very relaxing and pleasurable two weeks in this lovely apartment. The apartment was very spacious, well presented, comfortable,and well equipped. The large terrace was the highlight of the property with beautiful views over the bay and beach, in the sun for most of the day but having plenty of shade available if needed. Another advantage is that there are views from every room with the other side of the apartment overlooking the pool and down the coast to Almunecar. The pool is large and well maintained with an attendant present during the day, it has a large grassed area and was never busy when we were there. A short walk down through the complex led directly onto the lovely beach. I don’t think there are any other places in a better location in this area with the marina practically on the doorstep and both La Herradura and Almunecar close by. The owner is helpful and had a friendly local British couple on hand for additional assistance. We could not fault anything and I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment.
Wir haben 3 Wochen in La Herradura verbracht, es war ein unvergesslicher und sehr heißer Urlaub.Das Schwimmbad vor der Türe war Klasse, das Wasser im Meer klar und angenehm abkühlend, der Strand gemütlich.Uns hat dort alles super gefallen, wir haben auch tolle Ausflüge gemacht(Ronda, Granada, Gibraltar)Es hat alles gepasst und wir kommen dort sicher zurück!!!Vielen Dank!!
Marina del Este is a quiet scenic location near a secluded beach adjacent to a small pleasure boat marina with mountains behind it. The sheltered beach is a favourite for scuba diving, as well as snorkelling and safe swimming. There is a charming 'chiringuito' on the beach equipped with loungers and inside/outside eating facilities, and WIFI. Nearby on the way to the A7 motorway junction La Herradura village is situated on a large sheltered bay with market, shops, banks, out of doors cinema and several restaurants. Almuñecar town 5 Km and Nerja -spectacular caves - 10 Km by car are favourite tourist attractions with countless boutiques, restaurants. There are also beautiful 'white villages' (eg. Frigiliana) up in the hills a short drive away. Málaga and Granada cities, the latter with the famous moorish Alhambra and access to the Alpujarras mountains and Sierra Nevada with 3000 meter peaks are only one hour's drive. From Málaga you can take the ferry across the straits and visit Tangier, or Melilla frrom close by Motril.
