This beautiful property is a great option for anyone looking for a home away from home during their stay in Cyprus.   Villa Melissa offers a beautiful mature garden complete with fencing, giving that added feeling of privacy.  Extra attention has been given to the safety of the pool area, a safety fence has been erected around the pool with access through a single gate making this property the perfect choice for those with small children.  Inside, the property has been classically and simply decorated which pleasingly blends with the personal touches to make any stay instantly comfortable.  The cool interior is pleasantly laid out with lounge, dining area, shower room and a fully functional kitchen.  Each of the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and come with plenty of storage space.  The surrounding area has a laid back social scene with a number of traditional tavernas as well as restaurants offering more modern international cuisine.  Situated in Kapparis (a suburb of Protaras) this 3 bedroom property is nestled in a peaceful section while at the same time remaining close to the action.  You won't have to venture far to enjoy the vibrant social life that Cyprus is famous for.   The location is well connected with transportation services meaning guests can discover the rest of the area and beyond with ease.

Fully equipped kitchen for those who like to self cater. Utensils, crockery and cutlery are also provided. Comfortable modern furnishings in lounge with TV and international satellite channels, DVD player, Wifi internet access, PS2 and I-Pod docking station so bring your favorite music. The 7 x 3 metres swimming pool is private therefore no life guard is on duty. Children must be supervised at all times. For your alfresco dining there is use of a BBQ accompanied by dining furniture for 6 guests. 6 sunbeds are available, one per guest. The pool is cleaned twice per week by a CPO certified technician and is included in the rental price. The property has remote control air conditioning throughout to ensure your stay is comfortable and is included in the price. Beach towels are not provided so please bring your own. A health and safety pack is provided for your safety.

Perfect holiday in a very nice villa

The property is exactly as described, in a very quiet area, 10-30 minutes by car to all the beautiful beaches from Protaras and Ayia Napa.

We found everything we needed in the villa: fully equipped kitchen, power adapters, etc.

All the appliances in the villa have instructions, so it is impossible not to find answers to your questions.

schönes Haus aber ungepflegt, Familien mit Kindern zu empfehlen

Schönes großes Haus mit viel Platz, gut eingerichtet (geräumiger Wohn-, Koch- und Essbereich); ruhige Lage und begrünt; mehrere Buchten in 5 - 10 Gehminuten zu erreichen; Autoabstellplatz in der Einfahrt. Die technischen Einrichtungen waren alle in einem funktionstüchtigen Zustand.

Bei unserer Ankunft war der Pool unbenützbar, offensichtlich lange nicht gereinigt; der Außenbereich war ebenso länger nicht gereinigt und mit Vogelexkrementen verschmutzt.

Der Schlüsselsafe klemmte. Generell machte das Haus einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Badezimmerfließen wiesen Schäden auf, die Fließenfugen teilweise schimmelig. Abblätternde Farbe in den Zimmern im Obergeschoß und muffiger Geruch; durchhängende Betteinsätze. In der Küche gab es zu wenig Küchenporzellan und Besteck in Bezug auf die Kapazität des Hauses.

Unserer Meinung nach könnte man mit einem akzeptalen Aufwand das Haus in einen annehmbaren Zustand versetzen.

Owner's Response: Many thanks for taking the time to review this property, sorry you was disappointed with the pool upon arrival, this was due to windy conditions and leaves had gone into the pool, this was attended to and leaves was taken out. The pool was cleaned regular. Our utmost attention is always given to clients feedback all this has been taken into consideration and will be looked into. The garden is having a makeover for the new season and the trees was for shade however this has made more leaves. Kind regards Keyshore Team

Famagusta has become a popular location as the beaches and coves are relatively untouched. The area has many traditional red soil villages, and the central town of Paralimni is close by with the primary resorts of Protaras and Agia Napa a little further along the coastline. The golden sandy beaches stretch over ten miles with shallow waters and there is no shortage of water sports. The weather in Famagusta over the summer months boasts pure sunshine and virtually cloudless skies. Cyprus itself is full of historic and cultural sites including the two beautiful churches in Paralimni Town which attract visitors from all over the world. It also offers a mixture of traditional and modern shopping along with a variety of bars, traditional coffee houses, and restaurants to suit all tastes. Cape Greko is the local National Park, this is area of natural beauty and is well worth a visit as it is also famous for its cliff diving. Famagusta area offers many sight-seeing trips including bus trips to the North (experience a different Cyprus) or another popular day out is a trip to Troodos Mountains and the local wineries.

Kapparis is a small more laid back resort, 3km from Protaras and it concentrates on families making it a safe environment for children. Explore the many coastal paths and you will discover a few secluded sandy coves and places of natural beauty alongside the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. The resort offers a variety of bars and restaurants which welcome children and most have nightly entertainment. Some of the restaurants also offer a delivery service. Kapparis is growing in popularity every year as it is a perfect base to explore the local areas. The bustling resort of Protaras is a short drive away and just further along is the resort of Ayia Napa. Car rental is recommended to explore and fully appreciate the East Coast of Cyprus.

Protaras has become another popular family resort. Famous for the sandy Fig Tree Bay Beach which stretches across approx 5km of the shoreline. With velvet sand and sparkling turquoise waters the beach begins from the beautiful Konnos Bay meandering along to the small coved sandy bays of Kapparis. All tourist beaches offer water sports which can be enjoyed by all age groups with activities including para-sailing, paragliding, Scuba diving, snorkeling, kite-surfing, Jet Ski, wind surfing and there are a wide range of coastal boat trips on offer. Cyprus currently has over 50 beaches that have been awarded the Blue Flag status. The main tourist area in Protaras, (known as the strip) has an abundance of activities and entertainment suitable for both young and old ranging from bungee trampolines and mini golf for the children to the magical dancing water show for all the family. There is an array of bars which offer nightly entertainment for the adults; however children are welcome in most bars. There is a variety of shops and boutiques to browse in and also local supermarkets including Lidl which are open late for every day needs. You can purchase items such as medicines, food, clothes & souvenirs. There are many Restaurants offering local and international cuisine such as Mexican, French, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, English and traditional Greek dishes etc. You will find the restaurants family friendly whether you simply wish a snack from the bar or a more sophisticated style of dining. Protaras has something for everyone, a perfect holiday getaway.
