Our spacious, ocean view condo is only steps from Kepuhi Beach. Our condo feels more like a beach home than a condo with its generous living space, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, loft, and wrap-around lanai. The condo is a lovely space for two people who just want a little extra room. The condo is also large enough to accommodate up to 6 people with ample room to relax. Beautiful French doors open the entire downstairs up to a 500 sq. ft. screened lanai - the ultimate space for dining or just basking in the breeze and enjoying the spectacular views of Kaiaka Rock. This Paniolo Hale style condo makes optimal use of the panoramic lanai views with an open air floor plan. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen including a dish washer, refrigerator, ice-maker, built-in filtered water faucet at the sink for drinking water, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, etc. The condo is also equipped with a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.

Wake up every morning on a comfortable King size bed to the gentle sea breeze through the open French doors. Breathe in the fresh ocean air and listen as Mother Nature pounds her waves onto the Kepuhi Beach. The downstairs bedroom has an adjoining full bathroom making for a convenient and comfortable stay. You’ll also find a comfortable Queen size bed upstairs with amazing ocean and garden views. A full-size bathroom is also located directly adjacent to the upstairs bedroom. Our charming condo is nicely furnished with a dining table, living room seating area and an extra pull out double sofa bed.

Paniolo Hale offers a beautiful pool & BBQ area for your enjoyment. Take a short walk North to Make Horse Beach, or venture only minutes south to Papohaku Beach, the longest white sand beach in Hawaii, where sometimes the only people on the beach are you.

Molokai is known as 'The Friendly Isle.' It is also considered the most Hawaiian island. Literally step back in time 50 years. You will not find traffic lights, elevators, malls, glitz, or night life here. If you're looking for a rural place for relaxation, snorkeling, beautiful ocean views, quiet beaches, and old Hawaii, you'll find it at our condo. About Dave Dearborn

Michelle and I are both California natives. Growing up near the coast, we developed an appreciation of outdoor adventures, and most of all, a love for the ocean. We still reside in the Bay Area, and always look forward to our trips to Hawaii. We both have full-time careers, but still make time to enjoy our four children, a glass of good wine on the porch in the evenings, and seeking out new experiences.

Paniolo Hale Resort is considered the premier condominium resort on the island of Molokai, and not without good reason. Known as 'the shadiest place on west Molokai', the beautifully landscaped grounds are shaded by a canopy of several age old Hawaiian trees. The paniolo hale (translates as cowboy house) style makes optimum use of panoramic lanai views and open air floor plan. Our unit has a wrap around screened-in lanai that offers a wonderful ocean view. Kepuhi beach is a 2 minute walk from your door. Available for guests at Paniolo Hale are a beautiful swimming pool and an outdoor barbeque area. The pool is inlaid with thousands of ocean blue colored tiles, and include tile designs of dolphins, sea turtles and tropical fish. The barbeque area has two stainless steel gas grills set in a stone foundation and includes picnic tables. A great place to meet some of the guests, folks can be found here at all hours of the evening putting the final touches on their day's catch or showcasing their favorite BBQ recipe. The west side of Molokai is paradise. If you like to walk or swim, or just enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean, you'll be at home.

We have very mixed emotions about this review of Paniolo Hale. What makes this place so special is the remoteness and lack of people! Great reviews could make this place more popular, which would take away the incredible charm of the western end of Molokai and mainly Paniolo Hale! Dave and Michelle have an incredible "cowboy house" in unit E3!! Our two weeks were incredible and the sound of the waves on the beach are very relaxing. This was our 9th consecutive year that we have stayed on Molokai, and Unit E3 was by far the best place on Molokai that we have stayed. The view, the flora, the sounds of the waves and the birds singing added to the totally laid back atmosphere. Don't miss the walks on the beach and the nightly walk up the beach to watch the sunset! Beautiful Condo in the perfect Molokai location

This condo was absolutely awesome! We stayed for a week beginning 4/17/18.

Stunning location; awesome home; perfect lanai porch! Incredibly beautiful and well-appointed! Literally steps from the sand and the ocean. Dave and Michelle have thought of everything. They had all the essentials, plus beach chairs and beach gear, great CD's to listen to, and many relevant books and recommendations of places to go and see.

The beds and furniture were all top notch and comfortable. The location of the condo itself is perfect... near the well-maintained grilling area, near the walkway to the ocean... but still tucked away in a quiet corner of the complex.

We loved the accordion doors and kept them open the whole time we were there. There was nothing like sipping wine and enjoying the chirping of the birds while relaxing on the lanai.

We highly recommend Dave and Michelle's place and will definitely return and stay in their home.

Molokai itself is amazing. SO laid back and un-hurried. No Waikiki skyscrapers here!

Highly recommend the mule trip to Kaluapapa (book well in advance!) and the hike into Halawa Valley with the Hawaiian cultural guide. We loved all both (LoL) of the sit-down table-service restaurants (the Hotel Molokai and Paddlers). We often passed by fewer than a dozen cars during our trip to the quaint main town of Kaunakaka.

We got our rental from Mobettah car rentals. Talk with Dusty - he will do you right!

Make sure you check out Maunaloa, pretty close to the condo -- it's practically a ghost town. Talk with the owner of the Kite Factory there and he'll give you the scoop on the town.

Everything with the condo was perfect! Zero complaints.

Like home!

This condo did not disappoint. Clean, appliances were like new, great location and we all had private space. My friends used the downstairs bedroom and bath and I used the upstairs bedroom and bath. Perfect. About a 15 minute drive from the airport. The drive to town was 25 to 30 minutes depending on traffic (just kidding, there is no traffic, really, none). The grounds were clean as was the entire island. Sunset with the "neighbors" was fun every night and the walking trails in the old golf course was just the best. The BBQ area is somewhat of a gathering area in the evenings, we enjoyed meeting folks there too. We were able to find all we needed at Friendly market in town and a few things at the general store at Maunaloa just up the road. Be aware that the grocery stores are closed on Sunday so plan accordingly. To say Molokai is the "Friendly Island" is a understatement. Everyone we encountered were so friendly. If you have a chance try the "tomato jam hamburger" at Paddlers restaurant, so good. When returning to Hawaii will only return to Molokai and hopefully this condo if it's available. Like the saying goes, not the easiest island to get to but the hardest to leave. So true.
