Rustic style farmhouse finished to high standards in Gharb with private pool, consisting of 5 double bedrooms (4 with A/Cs card operated).Sleeps 10 with optional 4 folding beds if required.Ground floor comprises of one double bedroom,bathroom, open plan living room with fire place, free wifi,flat screen tv,DVD player,leading to dining/kitchen area with fully equipped kitchen overlooking pool and BBQ area.

1st floor comprises of 2 double bedrooms (1 King) with private ensuites. Rear bedroom has a covered overlooking pool and country views and Ta' Dbiegi hill which is the highest point in Gozo.

2nd floor comprises of 2 bedrooms ,living room and bathroom with a covered verandah overlooking open unobstructed country views and pool area.

Having returned to Gozo after 20 years in Australia my wife and I decided to build a property to cater for the ever increasing tourist arrivals on the island.

We now spend the majority of our day tending to the farmhouse and ensuring that our guests enjoy a happy and memorable stay In Ta! Giga.

Ta Giga is a Wonderful Gem

Ta Giga was exactly as described with a wonderful imposing entrance that is not pictured. We were able to park in front of the house although there is a basement garage. The house was very clean, and the owner Frank went out of his way to help us. He even volunteered to wait at the house while we went to dinner our first night because our airling was delivering our lost luggage. The TV and wifi worked fine, and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was very convenient. There is a supermarket several doors away and at least three good restaurants withing walking distance. One of Malta's Craft Villages is just down the street. We really enjoyed the craftsmanship in the house, and the top of the line decorations. Our security deposit was promptly returned, and we are pleased we chose to stay and would definitely recommend it.

Just perfect!

We stayed here with both my parents & my husband’s parents. Space for 2 cars outside, one floor for each couple, a bathroom each, spacious, clean, lovely views, private pool...

Peaceful yet with all amenities on the doorstep - Beautiful craftshops (serves great coffee in the cafe there!), gorgeous food at restaurant (walkable & very reasonable cost), supermarket just a few doors down (sells everything!), other coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy, all on doorstop.

Sight seeing open top bus tour stops outside craft shop centre. Lots of safe running routes (centre of Gozo only 1.5 miles away). Definitely recommend! We shall return :-)

And Frank goes out of his way to be the perfect host - thank you!

Simply Perfect

A great farmhouse for a family or families with children, since it has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We were 8 adults and 4 children and space was more than enough. Kitchen and living area are huge. House is very well equipped and I can assure it has everything you will need during your stay. Pool area is just right. The children loved every moment they spent in the pool. Rooms are very spacious. I highly recommend and would love to go again and again and again!!!!!

Car: not necessary

Ta' Giga is located within walking distance of the quaint villages of Gharb and St Lawrence.

These villages are amongst the oldest on the Maltese islands and boast a number of attractions which are a stones throw away from Ta' Giga such as Gharb folklore museum, Ta' Pinu Shrine (famous for the number of miracles attributed to this Saint) proof of which can be viewed within the museum.

Ta' Dbiegi crafts village is virtually next door where you can watch local craftsmen engage in their trades (glass blowing/hand made pottery/lace and leather goods).you also have the unique opportunity to purchase these local goods.

Dwejra Bay is only a five minute drive away where the famous Azure window is located or absorb the local way of life by walking through these villages and the panoramic countryside.

Public transport stop is closeby and service is efficient.

A fully supplies grocery which will cater for all your needs be it goceries,meat,wines etc is a short walk away.

Parking is available inthe front of property or you can make use of the semibasement garage.
