This fabulous country villa with a private pool has all day sun. It is set in a beautiful mature Mediterranean garden, filled with lush trees, bougainvillea, shrubs and fruit trees, and is walking distance to the traditional quaint village of Jesus Pobre, which offers a bank, a bakery and a Sunday evening artisan market. The villa is very comfortable and bright, and has the convenience of air-conditioning and internet facilities. The property has a beautiful relaxed ambience, both inside and out, the living area flows out to the outside BBQ and and terrace overlooking the pool. There are various places in the garden to sit and relax, to read or snooze, either in the sun, or under the shade of a tree. This is a gem of a villa, being so secluded and yet being so near to La Sella Golf Club, and the towns of Javea and Denia, so you can relax and escape or have a cocktail in one of the many seafront restaurants and beach bars overlooking the Med. Valencia is only an hour a way with the outstanding ‘City of Arts an Sciences’, featuring a concert hall, museum and underwater sea world and dolphin park. Or you can take a sight seeing tour around the city which includes seeing the port area of the America’s Cup.
There are a multitude of sports on offer for the more active among us- golf, tennis, horse riding, climbing, water-skiing, SUP, wind and kite surfing. Immediately outside the villa are gorgeous country lanes, and for the more adventurous there are excellent hikes in hill top villages only 40 mins drive away. Les Fonts De Agar are natural waterfalls, you can take a picnic and spend the day/afternoon in the cold fresh water. Also nearby are various caves to go and visit. The artisan town of Gata is just 5 mins drive away and offers handicrafts, wicker ware, and stoneware.
For the children, just a 40 minute drive away is seaworld-Mundomar, and right next to the water park- Aqualandia. A further 10 minute drive down away is Terra Mittica- the amusement park and the zoo- Terra Natura, with another water park.
The general area has excellent restaurants and plenty of places to buy local roadside produce of Olive oil, oranges, almonds, wine, preserves, and cheeses.
Jesus Pobre is an exceptional village, keeping its true Spanish roots. . It’s a sleepy village, you pass very few cars in the village lanes and hardly see any tourists. It keeps its Spanish roots and charm.
The villa makes a great holiday, comfortable, calm and quiet.
