Outside:

Converted barn (beside owner’s farmhouse) in idyllic spot beside the sea and Kilcoe Castle, facing south with views across Roaring Water Bay to Hare Island. About 4 miles from the charming and colourful village of Ballydehob, which has a harbour for boat hire, good shops, excellent restaurant and pedal boats. Schull (9 miles) for horse riding, sailing school and watersports, sea food and ferry trips to Sherkin Island and Fastnet. Patio with garden furniture.

Inside:

Well furnished and equipped with two bedrooms on the ground floor each with en suite shower and W.C., one with a double and one with one single bed and stairs to large kitchen/dining/sitting room with patio door to small veranda

and separate W.C. Duvets and blankets. Oil fired central heating. Television (Sky satellite digital) and DVD. CD/radio. Dishwasher. Microwave. Washing machine. Dryer. Fridge/freezer. High chair. Hairdryer. One pet only.

Exquisite, Unique, Majestic, Home

Everything was perfect!! It's a beautiful location, words can't even describe how wonderful and serene and amazing this place was. James and Noreen are probably the nicest people you will ever meet. They are so friendly and informative and were always checking on us to make sure we were happy and didn't need anything. All four of us are from small towns and this was like a home away from home. It took us back to our roots and it was just perfect! There is just no other way to describe it. You have the ocean at your doorstep, a castle nextdoor, you stay in a refurbished barn! Need I say more! It is out and secluded from the busy world which is perfect! We were SO happy here we didn't want to leave! If Ireland wasn't so far away from home I would spend as much time as I could here. We drove all around southern Ireland from here but were so glad this was our home away from home. I loved this place!!
