The apartment is on the second floor of a four story building in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood in Glyfada. Enjoy the extra spacious layout in this modern apartment located in the South Athens beach city of Glyfada. Recently built (2005) it is modern and comfortable.
You enter into a large spacious area and step down to a sunken living room which has its own private balcony complete with sunbeds. There is a fireplace, flat screen TV, stereo, and two full sized couches and coffee table.
Next there is an open dining room and kitchen area that share another independent balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher, oven/stove, coffee machine, mixer, etc. and the balcony has its own BBQ, breakfast table(see photos), and couch that opens up to a bed where you can enjoy breezy afternoon naps.
There is a Master Bedroom with a queen sized bed, private bathtub and sink, makeup mirror, private balcony, flat screen TV and DVD player and plenty of closet space. There are two more bedrooms one of which also has a private balcony.
There is a full sized bathroom and laundry closet for you to wash your clothes. And there is one more WC near the living room.
Downstairs there is a private parking space and a lovely garden.
Airport transport or any other trasport is available upon demand at an additional cost.
Located in south athens, Glyfada is one of the best places to be in the summer. It is 25' drive from the airport, traffic permitting. The metro station ""elliniko""is only 5' away by car or a 15' walk. Then it is only 8 metro stops away to the acropolis and the center. You can take nice drives on the Greek Riviera all the way to Cape Sounion where you can catch a fantastic sunset at the Temple of Posseidon.
The best organized beach in athens is Astir beach in Vouliagmenis (see photos) which you can drive to in less than 10' or take a bus near the house. Glyfada has a great shopping area as well as many cafes, restaurants, bars. Besides the metro, there is a tram that you can take from Glyfada all the way to the center of Athens or Peireaus.
