Gated complex with pool & beautiful gardens close to Marina, restaurants, beach

Casalinda is a self-catering, modern, spacious and bright Townhouse for holiday rental, with swimming pool and surrounded by well maintained beautiful gardens.

Sleeps up to 6 and perfect set up for family with teenagers or the grandparents as upstairs there is one bedroom, bathroom and balcony so there is privacy if needed (the stairs that to go to the first floor are in the foyer and there is a door that can be locked at bottom of stairs so it gives complete privacy if required).

Downstairs there are 2 Bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds and cot if required) with ample wardrobe space, 2 bathrooms, one en-suite. Upstairs there is one bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and balcony.

Single beds can be joined if couples.

Town house is light, spacious and contemporary furnished.

It has an open plan kitchen/living/dining room, with sliding doors to 2 big patios that lead to the garden and swimming pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, smoothie maker. Also has 'baby' dishes.

Patio has BBQ, table, chairs and 6 sun loungers.

Best located unit in the complex as it offers privacy and at same time it is right next to pool (refer to the photos).

Very peaceful location surrounded by trees, with walking, cycling paths and golf courses (there are 5 golf courses in Vilamoura), 10 Minute walk to soft, sandy beach, casino and stunning Vilamoura Marina with its lovely restaurants, gorgeous shops and lively pubs. Water park nearby, great for kids. Excursions can be booked at the Marina and there is plenty to choose from.

Free Wifi and Satellite TV.

Daily cleaning services provided at extra cost. If you are staying for 2 weeks there will be a 'mini' cleaning service provided after one week. The towels will be changed but not the bed linen.

The property is a villa/townhouse in a gated community consisting of 12 units.

There is no need to book a car as everything is within walking distance and if you want to explore the rest of Algarve, you can book excursions at the Marina.

We live in Cambridge, I am South African and Les is British and between us we have 5 grown up boys and 6 grandchildren. I was born in Portugal but have never lived there as my parents immigrated to Africa when I was born. We bought this property about 11 years ago as we fell in love with Vilamoura when we first visited it. We consider it our second home and spend many weeks there enjoying the sunshine and the outdoors lifestyle it offers.

LOCATION=>Lovely tranquil location and at same time conveniently situated to all the amenities.

Bright and spacious with open plan modern kitchen, two big patios with BBQ and sun loungers.

There are only 12 units in complex so it is not crowed as some places, giving you a feel of being at 'home away from home' .

The only noise you hear are the birds singing in the morning.

What makes this house unique

Bright and spacious with two patios leading to the beautiful gardens and pool area giving you the feeling of being on a private villa but without paying the private villa prices :-)

Perfect if a big family and want to have some privacy as upstairs is very independent with a lock up door from the foyer.

Location - situated in a peaceful residential area where the only noise in the mornings is the birds singing and at the same time it is walking distance to Marina, beaches, restaurants.

Small complex - Atlantico Resort is a gated complex only with 12 units so it does not get crowded.

Excellent holiday property!

My family and I (incl. two teenaged children) had the pleasure of staying at this property the last two weeks of July. The villa is very well laid out with tasteful (and expensive) furniture. The kitchen is very modern with all appliances (incl. washing machine and dishwasher), and the property is very clean. There is a good sized swimming pool. The garden is maintained daily by a very friendly and helpful caretaker. Although only 10-15 minutes from the town centre and the beaches, the area is quiet and suitable for all.

Vilamoura has a beautiful marina surrounded by various shops and many superb restaurants serving delicious gourmet food at reasonable prices. All restaurants we visited were superb (I can especially recommend the shellfish cataplana!).

There are also many other good restaurants around town priding themselves in always serving fresh food, and there are plenty of bars/cafes; some quiet and relaxing, others more lively.

The entire Vilamoura area is truly beautiful, and there is a small sightseeing train which is highly recommended giving you an overview and flavour of this wonderful part of the Algarve.

Although the nearest mini supermarket is only a few minutes away by foot, this is understocked and overpriced. It is worth walking a little longer to a proper supermarket - Jaffers - which stocks everything you need for the house. They also have a good deli with a good selection of meats and cheeses.

We found it very difficult to hire a car in Vilamoura at the time we were there, so I recommend this is done at the airport, or alternatively in nearby Albufeira (€20 by cab).

We all had a very enjoyable time, and will definitely return in the near future.

Great value spacious holiday home

We (5 girls) stayed for one week in Pam's holiday home for my daughters 21st birthday . The location was quiet and relaxing and there were 5 sun loungers for relaxing by the pool through the day .Then it was a good 10 minute walk to the marina for more lively evenings . The villa felt homely and was very spacious . Having 3 bathrooms for 5 girls was very advantageous . The home was well equipped except for wine glasses ( only one ) . We had a problem with toaster but Pam quickly responded to us and got a replacement . Would definitely recommend this holiday home and would go back again .

Fabulous holiday with friends!

I stayed here with my husband and our friends for 5 nights in September. From the moment we booked Pam was very helpful and friendly; any questions I had were answered quickly.

On Arrival Armenio was waiting for us with the keys and he was also very friendly. The villa itself was as it is in the pictures. A good size for the 5 of us, clean and had everything we needed, including bath/hand towels and bedding. We made good use of the kitchen and the BBQ. (maybe could do with a couple more glass tumblers in the kitchen, but that's a minor thing). Outside the villa is where we spent most of our time and the complex was really peaceful, the pool is a good size and only a few steps from your sunbed. Even though it is a communal pool we pretty much had it to ourselves which was great.

There is a large Spar 10 minutes walk away for all your food and drinks. Vilamoura Marina is around 15 minutes walk and has plenty of restaurants and bars. The beach is a similar 15 minute walk.

I would recommend this villa, and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay!

This was our first family holiday with our baby who was 11 months when we travelled. The villa is fantastic with a wonderful pool that we practically lived in the entire stay. It was lovely and peaceful and had everything you needed. It was around a 15 minute walk to the marina and had a couple of restaurants/cafes nearby with a well stocked spar. We bought our fresh fish and meat for the BBQ from the spar or Jaffas which is about a 5 min walk away.

We had exceptionally hot weather whilst we were there reaching the 40s so we struggled a little without the air con but Pam tells me she's looking at getting this installed now which will make it even more perfect.

We'll certainly be back as we loved it so much. Pam offers a great service and ever so helpful whenever you need her. We used António for the transfers who was very professional and even stopped at a supermarket for us so we could stock up on the heavy things - highly recommend him!

Excellent Townhouse in Vilamoura

Excellent location , minutes away from main marina, restaurants and bars. Clean , spacious well equipped townhouse. Good customer service, maintenance man about everyday cleaning pool and maintaining gardens. Definitely recommend property and would go back myself loved the whole holiday. Most of the time had pool to ourselves so my children were happy. Could walk to Marina and beaches, got taxi to Waterpark(8 euros e/w for family of 4), hired a car for two days to visit Loule and Sagres but car not essential Supermarkets in walking distance (five minutes from Townhouse).

Excellent property & location

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for one week in June and we had a wonderful time. The apartment is very clean and spacious, has lovely well kept gardens and a large swimming pool. The complex is lovely and quiet but you are only a 10 min walk from the beautiful marina and large supermarket. Best of both worlds which is exactly what we wanted! Having visited Vilamoura before, we knew we wanted to be within walking distance of the marina as we go every night, but a peaceful complex.

Pam was excellent to deal with, answering any query we had very quickly. Pam also put us in touch with Antonio who took us to and from the airport which was great.

We would definitely recommend Pam and this apartment.

10 minutes walk from Vilamoura Marina and Casino, 10 minute walk to beaches, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, Convenient mini-market 2 minute walk. Various golf courses within 2km and driving range in Vilamoura.

Faro Airport - 15km

There are two main beaches at Vilamoura, the beautiful Falesia that stretches for miles, always offering plenty of space and seclusion, even in the height of the season, and the Marina Beach that is right in the centre of Vilamoura and it is a 10 minute walk from appartment. Then there is the Quarteira Promenade with it's many wonderful beaches which is also a 10 minute walk away. Waterpark 3km away, great for the kids.

There is no need for a car as there is plenty activities at walking distance, namely, beaches, Marina, centre of town for restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. For other attractions like Albufeira strip, Cascais shopping, movies, Zoo Marine, go-karting, small traditional villages you will need a car.
