Casalinda is a self-catering, modern, spacious and bright Townhouse for holiday rental and walking distance to the Vilamoura Marina. It has a communal swimming pool and its surrounded by well maintained beautiful gardens.
Sleeps up to 6 and perfect set up for family with teenagers or the grandparents as upstairs there is one bedroom, bathroom and balcony so there is privacy if needed (the stairs that to go to the first floor are in the foyer and there is a door that can be locked at bottom of stairs so it gives complete privacy if required).
Downstairs there are 2 Bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds and cot if required) with ample wardrobe space, 2 bathrooms, one en-suite. Upstairs there is one bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and balcony.
Single beds can be joined if couples.
The Town house is light, spacious and contemporary furnished.
It has an open plan kitchen/living/dining room, with sliding doors to 2 big patios that lead to the garden and swimming pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, smoothie maker. Also has 'baby' dishes.
Patio has BBQ, table, chairs and 6 sun loungers.
Best located unit in the complex as it offers privacy and at same time it is right next to pool (refer to the photos).
Very peaceful location surrounded by trees, with walking, cycling paths and golf courses (there are 5 golf courses in Vilamoura), 10 Minute walk to soft, sandy beach, casino and stunning Vilamoura Marina with its lovely restaurants, gorgeous shops and lively pubs. Water park nearby, great for kids. Excursions can be booked at the Marina and there is plenty to choose from.
Free Wifi and Satellite TV.
Daily cleaning services provided at extra cost. If you are staying for 2 weeks there will be a 'mini' cleaning service provided after one week. The towels will be changed but not the bed linen.
The property is a villa/townhouse in a gated community consisting of 12 units.
The complex swimming pool is not heated and has the following measurements:
depth: shallow end 1m, middle 1.5m, deepest end 2.5m
There is no need to book a car as everything is within walking distance and if you want to explore the rest of Algarve, you can book excursions at the Marina.

There are only 12 units in complex so it is not crowed as some places, giving you a feel of being at 'home away from home' .
The only noise you hear are the birds singing in the morning.

Perfect if a big family and want to have some privacy as upstairs is very independent with a lock up door from the foyer.
Location - situated in a peaceful residential area where the only noise in the mornings is the birds singing and at the same time it is walking distance to Marina, beaches, restaurants.
Small complex - 'Atlantico Resort' is a gated complex only with 12 units so it does not get crowded.
My family and I (incl. two teenaged children) had the pleasure of staying at this property the last two weeks of July. The villa is very well laid out with tasteful (and expensive) furniture. The kitchen is very modern with all appliances (incl. washing machine and dishwasher), and the property is very clean. There is a good sized swimming pool. The garden is maintained daily by a very friendly and helpful caretaker. Although only 10-15 minutes from the town centre and the beaches, the area is quiet and suitable for all.
Vilamoura has a beautiful marina surrounded by various shops and many superb restaurants serving delicious gourmet food at reasonable prices. All restaurants we visited were superb (I can especially recommend the shellfish cataplana!).
There are also many other good restaurants around town priding themselves in always serving fresh food, and there are plenty of bars/cafes; some quiet and relaxing, others more lively.
The entire Vilamoura area is truly beautiful, and there is a small sightseeing train which is highly recommended giving you an overview and flavour of this wonderful part of the Algarve.
Although the nearest mini supermarket is only a few minutes away by foot, this is understocked and overpriced. It is worth walking a little longer to a proper supermarket - Jaffers - which stocks everything you need for the house. They also have a good deli with a good selection of meats and cheeses.
We found it very difficult to hire a car in Vilamoura at the time we were there, so I recommend this is done at the airport, or alternatively in nearby Albufeira (€20 by cab).
We all had a very enjoyable time, and will definitely return in the near future.

The property was within a comfortable 10-15 minute walk to the Marina with a large choice of restaurants and bars. It is necessary to hire a car to explore neighbouring towns & beaches. 5 min drive to local beaches with large car park. The accommodation was comfortable, spacious and bright and we made full use of the outdoor areas with the pool and bbq.
I read through all of the previous reviews and was still surprised how lovely the apartment was. It's location is great, less than 10 mins from the marina within a quiet complex of just 10 or so apartments. The apartment is very well equippped and very much like a home from home.
If you are considering, BOOK IT, you will not be disappointed!!

I will start with the Negatives shall I?, Constant barking of local dogs, under the flight path of every plane out of Faro airport, Freezing
cold swimming pool, same towels for nearly 2 weeks and not even basic cooking or cleaning items provided. e.g. dishwasher, washing m/c. etc.
Bathrooms in need of refurb, on the plus side it was mainly quiet overnight with all the windows shut! also within walking distance of beach, marina and shops. Lots of TV stations but not many in English. All in all just about adequate but did hope it would have been better.
Just back from a lovely short stay at this Townhouse - five of us went for a long weekend in Vilamoura and it was ideal with the three bedrooms and bathrooms (five women trying to get ready to go out!). Lovely and spacious, very clean and tidy, everything you need. We were also lucky enough to have the complex to ourselves for the weekend, so it felt like our own private pool too. Just a 10 minute stroll down to the Marina, so lovely and quiet and relaxing during the day, but close to all the bars and restaurants in the evening without the need for a taxi/driving. Thanks to Pam too for her help in answering our questions before we went. We also used Antonio for transfers, who was excellent and I would highly recommend. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

Various golf courses within 2km and driving range in Vilamoura.
There are two main beaches at Vilamoura, the beautiful Falesia that stretches for miles, always offering plenty of space and seclusion, even in the height of the season, and the Marina Beach that is right in the centre of Vilamoura and it is a 10 minute walk from appartment.
Then there is the Quarteira Promenade with it's many wonderful beaches which is also a 10 minute walk away.
Waterpark 3km away, great for the kids.
There is no need for a car as there is plenty activities at walking distance, namely, beaches, Marina, centre of town for restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. For other attractions like Albufeira strip, Cascais shopping, movies, Zoo Marine, go-karting, small traditional villages you will need a car.
