Lovely little cottage
We enjoyed our stay here. It’s a cute fisherman’s cottage with a pretty back yard.
The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable.
The TV room in the basement is a great bonus!
It’s just a five minute walk to the river walk that takes you on down to the beach. Its also an easy walk to Sainsbury’s if you need groceries.
Just FYI, the stairs in the cottage are VERY steep. We stayed there with my elderly mother and although she managed just fine, it was a bit nerve wracking. Probably would not be good for toddlers either.
Overall very clean and very tidy.
Very satisfied overall. If I had to criticises anything, the bathroom could do with a lick of paint and the creaky floor boards need attention.
Great little cottage
Stayed with my husband and 2 children (14 and 12) over the Easter Holidays. Lovely little cottage - clean and beautifully furnished. Had everything we needed, very comfortable stay. Kids loved the cinema room in the basement.
Good location - couple of minutes from train station and river, and nice walk down to the beachfront along the river - 10 mins at the most. Nice base for visiting South Coast - we visited Arundel, Chichester town and Marina and West Wittering, all within an easy drive (or train) and Brighton by train. Littlehampton has a lovely beach. Few nice pubs near by too - Arun View, Steam Packet & Empress on the river front was lovely surprise (not what you expect from the outside). Enjoyed our stay - many thanks.
Cosy and well presented cottage with a very cool cinema room
Brilliant, thoughtfully decorated cottage, fantastic place to stay.
From the initial enquiry through to the booking and everything inbetween, the owner was great providing consise information, the booking was so easy. Really impressed, the cottage was really homely with everything you could need and more. Ideally located with all amenities close by. Would thoroughly recommend to friends and family. Hope it doesn’t get booked up too quickly as we would love to return very soon.
beautiful, cosy and ideally located
Just perfect for us three travellers. Warm and cosy by the wood burner, fun in the cinema room, snug in the beds. We travelled to Chichester by train (station only a few paces away!) and had a great day walking the Roman walls, shopping, a drink in the Harbour hotel and then an amazing dinner in Cassons restaurant a short taxi drive away. We also visited the Arundel Castle area and had a beautiful hilly walk around Swanbourne Lake. We popped in to Bailiffs Court Spa and Hotel, a very interesting folly, but a roaring fire and heavenly hot chocolate to greet us. Although most inclement for beach walking, we managed a look in on Bognor Regis Pier, and followed the Arun river, from the Cottage to the end of the Rope Walk. Our last night was spent dining at the 47 Mussel Way harbour restaurant for a great meal. Ismael, thank you for the thoughtful sparkling wine, it was very welcome indeed!
