Modern 4 bedroom Cottage with all`mod Cons` in quiet scenic location

`Fernbank` is a modern split level cottage with open plan living and dining areas ideal for a relaxing`away from it all` break. The house offers spectacular views across Loch Linnhe which can be enjoyed from the lounge area or breakfasting conservatory. A fully equiped kitchen enables you to prepare local produce to be enjoyed in the open plan dining area which also has views of the loch. If you prefer to eat out, then the excellent Holly Tree restaurant and bar is a short stroll away. Two spacious double bedrooms (one en-suite) and two twin bedrooms sleep up to 8 adults. In addition there is a family bathroom and separate toilet

The house enjoys comfortable underfloor heating in the ground floor areas and radiator heating in the bedrooms, ensuring a warm cosy stay whatever the weather. TV and Stereo CD system are provided for your entertainment.

Washing machine and tumble drier are provided. The house has its own garden with wooded areas to the rear and sloping lawn to the front.

Loch view cottage

The cottage has stunning views over the loch to the mountains behind. It faces West and the sunsets were spectacular. It was very clean and well equipped with everything that we required for our stay. Glen Coe, Oban and Fort William (for Ben Nevis) are all within a short drive which made it perfectly positioned for walking and photography. Kentallen has no shops but the Co-op in Ballachulish is nearby and there is a restaurant directly opposite the cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to others.

Great location and great views

House was well looked after and generous with underfloor heating downstairs. Kitchen is well equipped though the cooker is induction type which is not the best for those who like to cook. There are walks almost from the doorstep and of course the views of the loch are wonderful. Basic food shopping is available in Glen Coe but Fort William is the nearest place for groceries. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Lovely place to stay

This home is a very lovely place and very roomy. It could easily accommodate 3 couples with its 2 1/2 baths. Just bring extra toilet tissue if you are from the US. It has a laundry room, huge master bedroom with a bath plus 2 more bedrooms upstairs with an additional bath. There is one roomy additional bedroom on the ground level. The house is in a neighborhood that has only about 8 homes and overlooks the Loch. The sun room is lovely and comfortable. It is truly a home away from home.

Beautiful views both inside and out.

The location of the property was very convenient and it was well maintained. The grounds were lovely with all the flowers. We had one small problem with the internet and the owner came right over to fix it. The views from the home are lovely and overlook a Loch. With 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, we had plenty of privacy for all. The sunroom with its views was to die for!

Outstanding home for 8 people.

We decided to look for a place to visit while coming home from Louisiana to celebrate Dads 91st birthday.

We found the house easily after our scenic drive from Glasgow.

The house was very clean upon arrival and had more than enough room for eight of us.

The location is perfect to use as a base to visit surrounding areas.

The Hollytree Bar and restaurant is 100 yards away, the food there is terrific.

All in all we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit our beautiful country.

Really clean large property. Great location.

We had a great time here. The property is really spacious and well laid out. Plenty big enough for 8 people. It is really well equipped and at no point did I wish there was an extra plate or a certain utensil! It had them all. It has a great view although did lack outdoor space for the kids to play. However they were usually too tired after our days activities.

Alan was really helpful. At one point the internet stopped working and he came straight round and sorted it.

This is definitely a property we would like to stay in again.

Please note that from May to September the cottage is let on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday) and cannot be rented for part weeks eg. 10 days etc. In other words it can only be booked for full weeks ie. 7 or 14 nights etc.
