Desirable 3 bedroom terrace town house in desirable Islington (zone 1)

The property has many of it's original features and consists of two double bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom) and a single bedroom (with bunk beds) over three floors. The upper floor consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom, whilst the third bedroom (with en-suite) is located towards the back of the property in the basement. The layout of the property is ideal for two couples to have independent space, whilst sharing the lounge and kitchen areas. Modern basement kitchen leading onto enclosed garden. Central heating throughout the property. A wood burner is located in the kitchen dining area therefore making it a relaxed place to cook and catch up with the family and/or friends any time of the year. Large lounge area with: double sofas, an electric piano, television and hi-fi facilities on the middle floor. Free Wi-Fi is included too!

NB: The property has open stairs so children should be supervised at all times and is not suitable for children under the age of five years. The property is also not suitable for people with restricted mobility. Unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Steps throughout the property. The property is not suitable for children under five years due to the open stairs leading to the kitchen area. If you are bringing children to the property we would recommend that they are supervised at all times especially on the open stairs leading to the kitchen area. Although we are just outside the congestion zone, a car is not essential in central London. However should you be driving to the property there are on-street parking meters nearby. Long term car parking facilities are available within 800 m of the property. If you are a 'Zipcar' member (car sharing scheme) there is a bay within 100 m of the property. Or if you prefer to explore London by bicycle, 'Boris Bikes' (bicycle hire scheme) are within 500 m of the property. Alternatively public transport (buses) is available at the bottom of the street. Within 100m of the property is a lovely enclosed public garden - a lovely place to sit and relax after a busy day seeing the sights

great location, comfortable accommodations

Everything about this rental property is excellent. The location in Islington near the canal was wonderful. It is conveniently near restaurants and shopping. Guests are encouraged to use all the facilities including laundry. The owner was prompt in answering any questions and indeed anticipates most questions in her information. The kitchen is excellent; the bedrooms comfortable. Highly recommended all around.

Great deal. Great location

4 adults stayed in this very nice traditional London home. The neighborhood was perfect and located close to the bus line that took us to the tube stations in the area. 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms worked just fine for us. Ms. Howard was responsive and very easy to work with.

Quaint townhouse

We enjoyed our stay and felt the house was adequate for our needs. It’s in a convenient area of London and taking the tube to all the attractions we wanted to see was very easy. Our only concern was the house was not very clean. I notified the owner and she offered to have the cleaner come back but I declined I did not want this person there if we weren’t. I myself did some cleaning in the kitchens and bathrooms to meet my satisfaction. Also they do not supply face cloths or hand towels which I thought was strange but maybe that is not the British way. Other than that it was comfortable and provided a place to rest after a full day of walking and exploring. I would recommend this property

Great Location

This is a fabulous location! Nice to walk along the canal and short walks to tube, restaurants, pubs, bakery, butcher, markets, etc. The property owner was great to work with. Our only complaint was that there was laundry in both the washer and dryer when we arrived and as we had planned on doing laundry there (we were on the road for 2 weeks by that point) it was a bit of a hassle as we didn't know what to do with the wet laundry. The owner was apologetic and said she'd arrange for someone to pick it up.
