This super family friendly Heron Marsh unit is located in Litchfield by the Sea and is nothing short of a few steps to the beach and pool access. Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms with a washer/dryer, spacious sundeck, wifi, cable, fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops, flat screen TV in the living room, covered parking and much more. Guests have use of the Heron Marsh pool with lots of area for sun bathing as well as walking paths, tennis and pickleball courts, fishing areas and of course miles of pristine beach. Litchfield By the Sea also features Starbucks on site, community dining and spa as well as full time 24 security in this private gated community. Bedding accommodations include two double beds downstairs and a queen bed upstairs for the master suite.

No motorcycles, RVs, Campers, Buses, or motorized skateboards are allowed in the LBTS community.

Comfort at the beach

The Herron Marsh units are comfortable and modern, with a 5-minute walk to the beach. Great restaurants are only minutes away. The Litchfield resort is a great concept. Downside: there is often noise from heavy equipment right outside your unit (tree trimming, lawn mowing, etc.) starting as early as 8 a.m. We realize this is necessary work but if you like to sleep in, you'll have to deal with it. Also, these are quad-plexes so chances are you'll have someone on either side, and they could be noisy.

Perfect for us!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Heron Marsh 86 by accident because we had originally scheduled a different property, but the owner sold it, so our agency moved us to this unit. It was very clean and homey. And a bonus was that we were very close to a bunch of family staying in Captains Quarters across the road from Heron Marsh. Overall, the community is quiet and feels safe. The bike trails were so fun, and the kids loved being free to bike all over. I appreciated the shade under the deck for those sunny, hot days when we wanted to be outside. The beach was a short walk through the Captain's Quarters buildings. The only complaint was the beds were ultra firm, which I find uncomfortable, but to each their own in that department. I recommend this property to anyone who likes a peaceful beach vacation with bike trails, tennis, and pool access. One recommendation for renters is to bring containers for food as there weren't any to store leftovers. Happy vacationing!
