A perfect lodge situated in picturesque surroundings. The lodge has recently been completed to the highest standard, remaining sympathetic to its Victorian roots. It is on 2 levels offering the following accommodation; Entrance Vestibule with cloakroom cupboard; lounge with 2x3 seat sofas & large plasma TV; kitchen with dining table for 6, breakfast bar, wine chiller,5 ring gas hob, double oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, double sink and storage space; conservatory seating 6. The lounge leads to the ensuite bedroom with a kingsized bed, fitted double wardrobe and shower cubicle. On the upper level there are two twin/double rooms with link beds; both bedrooms have a chest of drawers/wardrobes. The family bathroom has a bath/separate shower cubicle.The lodge is south facing allowing you to enjoy breakfast on the patio or that well-earned glass of wine at the end of a long day in the private,child friendly garden. The patio has seating for 6 and a BBQ.

Conyhill Lodge is situated in the small town of Bridge of Allan which is within a very close distance of Stirling Town Centre. Not only is Bridge of Allan a picturesque town which holds some of Scotland's most breathtaking scenery, with the Ochil HIls as a backdrop, it is also considered to be the home of Academic Excellence and therefore holds the magnificent campus of the University of Stirling which is a stone's throw away from the lodge. Not only is the campus excellent for sports, it is also top-notch for walking opportunities and entertainment facilities, with the MacRoberts Arts Centre situated on Campus.

Stirling town centre, which is only a twenty minute walk or five minute car journey away, is also a wonderful place for tourists to embrace; it has all the modern amenities which any tourist would expect in a busy town centre, but it also has the traditional aspects which the 'Key City of Scotland' should have. Considered to be the 'Key to Scotland' in medieval times, the City of Stirling - with it's castle and ramparts - is any tourists dream if they want to embrace Scottish Culture. The famous Wallace's Monument is also situated extremely close to the Lodge, along with the Dumayat Hill.

This historic Spa Town offers everything you could wish for. A walk through the beautiful University of Stirling Campus leads you to the foot of the Wallace Monument, where you can enjoy a coffee before your start your ascent. The university has excellent sports facilities and Art Centre. Bridge of Allan is a perfect location to enjoy the historic attractions that Stirling has to offer.

The village with its restaurants, cafes, deli and individual shops has something for everyone. The famous Gleneagles Resort is a short 15 mile drive and St Andrews, the home of golf is a 1 hour away

If you prefer the outdoors there are beautiful riverside and woodland walks to enjoy. Bridge of Allan is a popular holiday destination and Coneyhill Lodge is the perfect place to stay.

Great rental!

This rental was perfect for my family. There were three couples staying in the lodge and we all were able to spread out and have our own space. The owner is very nice. We had some rental car issues and she was very accommodating.

If you are staying here, having a car would probably be best. You can get around on buses and trains, but there would be a few transfers to get to the larger tourist attractions.

You can walk to shops and pubs, but the walk home is up a hill. For those with mobility issues, I would recommend driving. Parking is easy and the amenities were very nice. I highly recommend this lodge!

What a beautiful lodge

What a beautiful lodge in a nice, calm location and still close to the cities. We were welcomed very friendly with a very much appreciated welcome package like bread, milk, juice, flowers (thanks again for that !) The lodge has very nice furniture and a great fully equipped kitchen. There was nothing missing at all (pots, pans, dishes, cups, washing up liquid, dish washer tabs, washing machine tabs, bags, enough towels etc - everything was there). All the rooms were very tidy; there is also a nice sitting area on the terrasse.

The location is great to explore Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow and surroundings. It's all in easy reach by car. In walking distance (about 15-20 minutes) are shops and some restaurants. There is a parking possiblity right next to the lodge off the street.

We enjoyed our stay very much and can fully recommend this accomodation.
