About Diane Billinge
Young at heart 71 year old, grew up in Bristol, lived abroad on and off when children were young, went to live in france in 1992 and stayed 12 years, now in Greece and loving it. My 3 children and 6 grandchildren live in south west of england. My husband died 7 ears ago and I continue to live here and enjoy what we created together.
Diane Billinge purchased this Bed And Breakfast in 2004
Why Diane Billinge chose Ditiki Mani
When looking for a property in this area this olive grove was shown to us. It has such a lovely view and is only just outside the village and 30 mins from Kalamata, so we bought it and started to develop it, we decided not to build a house but to live in a mongolian yurt, which I still live in on the land.
What makes this Bed And Breakfast unique
There is a calmness about the site and it is horseshoe shaped with a lovely view to the bay of messini. When here you are in amongst the nature. I live as ecologically as possible, so there is solar energy, modern composting toilet with water and the wastewater feeds the plants.

The village is very rural and quiet mostly olive farmers and sheep and goat farms. Kalamata is 30 mins away. Places to visit for sure are ancient messeni, mystras, diros caves, byzantine churches and many wonderful clean beaches and coves.
