About this property

Excellent location for your weekend or week-long getaway. Private, cozy, 1 bed only 10 min walk from the city center. Quiet area with a bakery, mini market and small restaurants a few minutes away. Close to all UNESCO World Heritage sites, 45 minutes by car from the famous vineyards of Margaux, Saint Emilion, etc., and 45 minutes by car from the beach, Arcachon and Cap Ferret.

Tastefully decorated 50m2 apartment on the ground floor of a house. High ceilings, limestone wall, open floor plan, bedroom with ceiling fan, kitchen has all necessary appliances. Living room with bay windows overlooking the garden, with a small table and chairs. The sofa bed is for one adult or two children (130cm wide). A bathroom with Italian shower and WC. All linens and linens provided. Dining room for meals in the kitchen. Living room with sofa and chair, large screen HD TV, WiFi Internet access, Ethernet plug.

Bus stop right outside the house, bike rental across the street.

FANTASTIC PROPERTY AND HOST

We booked this during the Rugby World Cup and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Desirée was in contact as soon as we’d booked to understand the purpose of our stay and how she could help. We were sent helpful and extensive tourist information and ad hoc information about the city in advance of our trip so we could plan the best places to go to. Upon arrival, Desirée was there to greet us and show us around the fantastic apartment. The apartment was clean, modern and in a lovely location about 10 mins walk from the hustle and bustle of the city in a quiet neighbourhood area. Desirée’s hospitality and her lovely apartment was a highlight of our trip in Bordeaux and would definitely recommend to others looking for a city break.

Great stay in Bordeaux

What a lovely place to stay for a weekend in Bordeaux - a great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom and a great kitchen with lots of appliances and cookware. Desiree was an exceptional host. She was very friendly and went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay, telling us where great local bars and restaurants were located as well as ensuring we knew how to get to all the major tourist attractions. Desiree’s apartment is a little gem and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, luxurious and well located place to stay. Thank you Desiree from Alison and Mike
