As the title states from the moment we arrived and got off the plane every need was catered for Tsampikos and Elisavet were so gracious and welcoming that nothing was to much trouble their knowledge of the surrounding area/bars/people/places to eat was comprehnsive and given freely and a pleasure to share.
The locals are so friendly a smile and a wave are never far away
The location of the villa could not be better opening up those doors to let the sea breeze soothe your sun kissed skin as you wake up slowly is a joy. private pool immaculately maintained /bbq and my favorite the sandy Beach just infront of us!
In our hearts we never left and cannot wait to return
Gorgeous Villa, pool, patio, view. Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed. Tsampikos was a great host and Lisa was fantastic as his right hand lady. Perfect location too direct on the most beautidul beach we have ever been. A must visit property.
A Dream ...
The view from the terrace was the best I have experienced and was a definate highlight of the stay. The Villa was lovely and kept spotlessly clean by the very efficient and friendly staff. The owner was very welcoming and happy to provide any assistance required. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting Rhodes.
Great family holiday
My wife, our 2 ½ year old daughter, and I had a fantastic 1 week stay in Villa Aphrodite during the first week in October 2016.
The villa has been developed to a very high modern standard and matched our expectations from the photos. Every bedroom also had a high definition TV with USB sockets, which enabled us to watch movies from the comfort of bed. We spent most of our time in the outdoor area (with terrace and garden) which also did not disappoint with its incredible sea views, comfortable lounge beds and other outdoor furniture including dining table and chairs – perfect for al fresco meals.
The villas are located in the quiet SE part of the island, but are within easy driving distance to grocery stores, as well as Kiatori, Pefkos and Lindos. A car is essential (but care hire on the island is plentiful and relatively inexpensive).
Mojito’s beach bar is within easy (5 mins along the beach) walking distance and serves really good Greek food and the coldest Mythos we had on the island.
We took a day trip to Cape Prasonisi and hiked up to the top of the mountain, which was well worth the effort for the spectacular views.
The service we received, particularly from Manolis, was 5-star. The villa was fully cleaned half way through our stay and Manolis responded quickly to all of our questions and requests. His recommendations for restaurants were also all spot on, especially Platanos in Lahania (for lamb), Stefano’s in Kiotari (best for saganaki and seafood) and Terpsis in Pefkos (best for service, overall quality and experience).
We had a wonderful holiday, would highly recommend the villas – and will be back:)
Thank you for your five star rating. We are very happy that you enjoy your stay with us and we hope to welcome you and your family back soon.
We were 3 adults and 3 small children that spent 1 week in sept/ oct in Villa Aphrodite in Rhodes. The weather was perfect and we could simply stroll between the pool and the sea. The situation of the house is perfect but you need a car. The house itself is immaculate - the pictures don't lie. This is simply a gem! We also want to mention the owner Tsampikos and his sister. Made their utmost to make this holiday of ours pleasant. From the first contact to the delivery of keys in the house the information was given quickly and was accurate. We can really recommend this place.
The villa is tastefully decorated, great air con in every bedroom, comfortable beds, the pool was a big with the kids and the sea views are to die for. Everything about this villa is exactly as the photo's and detail say on the web. It was great to be able to walk down the steps and immediately onto the beach although we loved the pool best
The area is safe and quiet and only a handful of properties around. The owners are lovely and very helpful. They were there to greet us on arrival with drinks.
Overall, a great holiday and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Greece is a very beautiful country.
A truly wonderful stay in an amazing location! The house with its private pool by the sea is just to die for! I stayed with my family including 3 daughters for 3 nights and at the end wished we could have stayed 2 weeks! The location in the south of the island is so beautiful and peaceful and away from the noisy, busy tourists spots in the north and east. But you need a car as it's an hour drive from the airport. Cheap car hire available from local car hire company rodoshire.gr. it's worth the trip! Tsampikos was the perfect host. A true gent who looked after all our needs. Everything was so well organized and he was extremely attentive! He really made us feel at home!
Located on the peaceful coast of Gennadi - a coastal village with a great long beach at the south part of Rhodes, just after Lindos and Kiotari at a distance of about 60 km from Rhodes capital. The peaceful beach is mostly sandy. Gennadi offers a fair amount of taverns, restaurants and local attractions.
These exclusive holiday villas have direct access to the clear beach of Gennadi. It's also a short drive to the unspoilt windsurfers paradise of Prasonisi which is located south of the villas. A short drive north of the Villas you will find Lindos a truly unique experience.
Gennadi Beach..uninterrupted, unspoilt and the most peaceful beach boasting the cleanest and bluest waters in Rhodes. Within a 5 minute drive is the local village of Gennadi with access to local supermarket, pharmacy and other essential services. There are also several beachfront traditional tavernas offering fresh seafood while overlooking the water. Within 20 minutes drive visit the world famous village of Lindos or the unspoilt paradise of Prassonisi.
Uninterrupted, unspoilt and the most peaceful beach boasting the cleanest and bluest waters in Rhodes. There are also several beachfront traditional tavernas offering fresh seafood while overlooking the water. Within 20 minutes drive visit the world famous village of Lindos or the unspoilt paradise of Prassonisi. Wind surfing paradise.
The iconic village of Lindos, is a short car journey away. No vehicles are allowed inside Lindos, other than small delivery vans. Donkeys provide the mode of transport for taking tourists to the acropolis and down to the beaches and the Archaeological Society does not permit any changes to be made to the buildings, some of which originate from the 15th century, that might have a detrimental effect on the historical nature of the environment. Consequently it has retained its quaint, relaxed and memorable facade which makes it a favourite for holidaymakers, some of whom return year after year favouring Rhodes over any other holiday destination. At the other end of the village a road leads down to the harbour of St. Paul's Bay. The sea is beautifully clear here and it is a lovely spot to enjoy a picnic or stretch out and soak up the sun. The entrance to the village is on the north, by its only square, which has a large tree in the middle and a small fountain with many features from the period of the Knights. Rocks behind and above it recall ancient aqueducts. The graveyard is also at the entrance to the village, containing the church of Phaneromeni. This delightful little town is full to brimming with restaurants, bars, creperies, and souvenir shops. Beautiful handmade jewellery and leather sandals are very popular with both locals and tourists and make lovely gifts to take home. Be sure to pay Lindos a visit!
Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese islands and is steeped in mythical history. As showcased by the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the world, throughout ancient times, it was believed to belong to the God of the Sun - Helios. Very apt as Rhodes has more than 300 days of sunshine a year together with over 250 kilometres of coastline on which to enjoy it. The natural beauty of the island and the monuments from its long and often turbulent history, combine a lively present with a rich historical past. It offers a great variety of cultural and sports activities. You can enjoy sailing, scuba diving, jet skiing, windsurfing, golf and tennis. You can delight in experiencing the island’s many places of interest including the Valley of Butterflies; a tranquil spot where, during July and August, thousands of butterflies come to reproduce and dazzle us with their beauty. Alternatively, you can take a day trip on a boat to Symi or one of the other neighbouring islands, of which there are many.
If you are in the mood to explore the coastline, you will definitely find a beach that suits you. Choose between the fabulous, sandy beaches on the east and south coasts, Tsambika beach and Agathi beach, to name just a couple, the windsurfing beaches like Prassonisi on the southern tip ( just 5 min drive from the Villa) , the party beaches like Faliraki and Rhodes Town ( Elli Beach) and the almost forgotten rocky beaches on the north-western coast. Rhodes really has something for everyone!
