This is our 2nd visit to this Villa, we stayed here with family this time for 1 weeks.
The villa itself is lovely and clean but for us it’s the exceptional views, Sunsets BBQ area and infinity pool at the Villa that makes us want to keep coming back, Tsampikosand Lisa are the most perfect hosts and go out of their way to get you anything we need. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we couldn’t thank them enough for making our stay here amazing.
The location of the Villa is ideal, direct on the beach and local Tavern., Mochito Beach Tavern (ran by such a friendly couple) where we held our wedding!
We cannot wait to come back and visit soon highly recommended!!
All the best to all the family. It was very nice to meet you . We cannot wait to drink again OUZO together with you and Paul. Next time we will go fishing with my boat. So dont be late... :)
Beautiful Beach Villa
Everything was really nearly perfect in our stay at Tsampikos's Villa. Beautiful location, perfect host. A very special thanks to all the people that makes us feel at home, especially to Tsampikos and Lisa for their kindness and reliability and to the worderful Mochioto Tavern of Vivi and Dionisis for their unique warmth. Beautiful peolple. With a lot of love from all of us.
A lovely villa right on the beach
This luxury villa is in a wonderful position, right on the beach. Stepping out onto the patio, just past the pool, is the beach.
The villa is well equipped, comfortable and clean. There are three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms with bath and shower, plus a toilet and shower downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped, there are TVs in all bedrooms and the living room, and it is fully air conditioned.
The owner and management are really helpful. All my questions beforehand were answered fully and quickly. From landing in Rhodes and throughout our stay, Manolis was on hand to help with anything. Manolis directed us to a car park in Rhodes town, which I would recommend. It was only 5 euros to park for the day, it was secure and there were many free spaces even though we visited on Saturday afternoon.
A car is essential as it is a short drive (about 5km) to the shops, but it is quite easy to drive in Rhodes. I wasn’t keen on driving abroad, but I found it quite easy. The roads aren’t very busy and the villa is on the main road which goes around the coast so is easy to get to. The best way to find it is to head for the Mojito beach bar, which is about 5km south of Gennadi and the villa is about 200 metres further on.
The Mojito beach bar is well worth a visit too. It is in a lovely location, literally a short walk along the beach from the villa. It is very relaxing and serves wonderful food as well as mojitos or any other cocktail.
I was quite surprised to find there were no condiments AT ALL in the kitchen, so it made it difficult to prepare meals or snacks without buying absolutely everything you would need – salt, pepper, oil. Also you can’t drink the water, which is fine and there are bottles supplied in the fridge, however it means the dishwasher doesn’t clean the pots properly and it’s easier just to handwash everything.
All in all I’d definitely recommend the villa. It’s in a lovely position right on the beach.
A brilliant private couple get-away .
Our review is that it was totally private, the owner (Tsampikos) was fab as was his staff including the cleaning and support service received. We organised a pick up from airport via Tsampikos and all went to plan (none of the usual stress on arrival and trying to find accommodation). The local village was quaint and not commercialised. Yet, you could get an English breakfast if you wanted, A local bus service avail from the village to Rhodes town. Fresh fish caught on the day provided in a couple of seaside restaurants and homemade taramosalata to die for! . The cooking facilities in the accommodation were fantastic. Wifi was perfect. Tv was perfect too, even had Euro football matches. Bed really comfortable. If you are looking for a private couple get-away, to totally relax, connect and avoid crowds and the hotel regime, we cannot recommend highly enough! 5 stars and thanks to Tsampikos and his team..
a wonderful holiday!!!!
Everything was wonderful!!! The villa is beautiful , spacious, comfortable . Beach , water, sun ... all contributed to a perfect holiday !!! The owner of the villa is a very friendly man . And definitely we will return next summer .
We stayed here for 7 nights and the place is great. Away from the crowds in the quieter areas. Beach is great and safe for swimming although the it's a bit stony and little sand. Recommended but you will need a car which is essential anyhow in Rhodes. Gteat value for money and way better than joining the umbrella and beach chair madness elsewhere. You will enjoy this place as we did
Thnak you so much Kilmore for you 5 star rating!
We are very happy that you like our Villas and we hope that we can welcome you back soon in sunny RHODES!
Located on the peaceful coast of Gennadi - a coastal village with a great long beach at the south part of Rhodes, just after Lindos and Kiotari at a distance of about 60 km from Rhodes capital. The peaceful beach is mostly sandy. Gennadi offers a fair amount of taverns, restaurants and local attractions.
These exclusive holiday villas have direct access to the clear beach of Gennadi. It's also a short drive to the unspoilt windsurfers paradise of Prasonisi which is located south of the villas. A short drive north of the Villas you will find Lindos a truly unique experience.
Gennadi Beach..uninterrupted, unspoilt and the most peaceful beach boasting the cleanest and bluest waters in Rhodes. Within a 5 minute drive is the local village of Gennadi with access to local supermarket, pharmacy and other essential services. There are also several beachfront traditional tavernas offering fresh seafood while overlooking the water. Within 20 minutes drive visit the world famous village of Lindos or the unspoilt paradise of Prassonisi.
Uninterrupted, unspoilt and the most peaceful beach boasting the cleanest and bluest waters in Rhodes. Within a 10 minute drive is the local village of Gennadi and Lahania with access to local supermarket, pharmacy and other essential services. There are also several beachfront traditional tavernas offering fresh seafood while overlooking the water. Within 20 minutes drive visit the world famous village of Lindos or the unspoilt paradise of Prassonisi. Wind surfing paradise.
The iconic village of Lindos, is a short car journey away. No vehicles are allowed inside Lindos, other than small delivery vans. Donkeys provide the mode of transport for taking tourists to the acropolis and down to the beaches and the Archaeological Society does not permit any changes to be made to the buildings, some of which originate from the 15th century, that might have a detrimental effect on the historical nature of the environment. Consequently it has retained its quaint, relaxed and memorable facade which makes it a favourite for holidaymakers, some of whom return year after year favouring Rhodes over any other holiday destination. At the other end of the village a road leads down to the harbour of St. Paul's Bay. The sea is beautifully clear here and it is a lovely spot to enjoy a picnic or stretch out and soak up the sun. The entrance to the village is on the north, by its only square, which has a large tree in the middle and a small fountain with many features from the period of the Knights. Rocks behind and above it recall ancient aqueducts. The graveyard is also at the entrance to the village, containing the church of Phaneromeni. This delightful little town is full to brimming with restaurants, bars, creperies, and souvenir shops. Beautiful handmade jewellery and leather sandals are very popular with both locals and tourists and make lovely gifts to take home. Be sure to pay Lindos a visit!
Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese islands and is steeped in mythical history. As showcased by the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the world, throughout ancient times, it was believed to belong to the God of the Sun - Helios. Very apt as Rhodes has more than 300 days of sunshine a year together with over 250 kilometres of coastline on which to enjoy it. The natural beauty of the island and the monuments from its long and often turbulent history, combine a lively present with a rich historical past. It offers a great variety of cultural and sports activities. You can enjoy sailing, scuba diving, jet skiing, windsurfing, golf and tennis. You can delight in experiencing the island’s many places of interest including the Valley of Butterflies; a tranquil spot where, during July and August, thousands of butterflies come to reproduce and dazzle us with their beauty. Alternatively, you can take a day trip on a boat to Symi or one of the other neighbouring islands, of which there are many.
If you are in the mood to explore the coastline, you will definitely find a beach that suits you. Choose between the fabulous, sandy beaches on the east and south coasts, Tsambika beach and Agathi beach, to name just a couple, the windsurfing beaches like Prassonisi on the southern tip ( just 5 min drive from the Villa) , the party beaches like Faliraki and Rhodes Town ( Elli Beach) and the almost forgotten rocky beaches on the north-western coast. Rhodes really has something for everyone!
