'Capehouse' is a very unique waterfront, detached villa on the Cukurbag Peninsula offering space, privacy, tranquillity and its own access to the sea. The sunsets and magnificent views can be enjoyed from the large terraces while enjoying the use of the large, private infinity pool.
Each bedroom has its own en suite facilities and its own access to the pool area.
Take the private pathway down to your own sea platform and access to the beautiful Mediterranean where you can sunbathe, swim and enjoy use of the kayaks (2) provided.
Beautiful Views Over The Mediterranean: 'Villa Capehouse' is a two storey private,waterfront detached villa with large private pool and private access to the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean sea. As you walk in to the large living area you are confronted with beautiful views of the sea, the small islands and the Tourus Mountains. With it's open planning and high ceilings the living area has a lovely, light, tranquil feeling about it. You can choose to dine indoors or outside on the extensive terraces. As the villa faces the west you will enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening. The downstairs area includes 4 en-suite bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms have sea views but all of of them have their own access to the outdoor pool area.There is also a studio with bahroom built under the carport which is seperate from the house and has it's own entrance.
There is also a separate laundry room with extra fridge for your poolside drinks.

There is a covered parking area for 2 cars or you can make use of the local minibus service (every half an hour) to take you the 10 minutes drive into the centre of Kas.
Plenty of sun for sun lovers: Private rectangular infinity pool, 10 x 4.5 metres. Depth from 1.55 to 1.90 metres. Large terrace. Outdoor table and chairs and sunbeds. Poolside shower. Mobile gas BBQ. Villa is surrounded by established gardens.There is a large terrace leading out from the living area of the main villa with alfresco dining for 10 with barbecue. The property is built on a hill side so the property affords beautiful views. There is a terrace giving direct access to the sea, kayaks are available. The garden floor has an alfresco dining terrace. There are further terrace spaces suitable for relaxing in the sun or shade within the landscaped gardens - this ensures that all our guests have their own quiet space to relax in. There are 10 sunbeds available in addition to other comfortable garden furniture. The property also benefits from a covered car port.
Capehouse is wonderful with its tranquility, privacy, landscape, terraces, platform directly to the sea, and the pool. Rooms are decorated simply but in a perfect way that you have everything you need. All the bedrooms are en-suite. Hasan (the gardener and the pool man) is always ready to please you with everything. Access to the town centre is very easy and quick by the minibuses. Especially sunsets with the view of boats sailing are stunning. But the thing is that pictures do not do it a justice as I told Hakan the owner who is incredibly helpful with everything. I am wishing to come back to Kas and stay at the Capehouse again.
We are 2 swedish families with fairly demanding teenagers, ages 14-20, we spent 2 wonderful weeks here. This place not only met our expectations - this is one rare example of the real thing surpassing the shown photos with a wide margin.
The villa is around 5 years old and of high building standard. It was clean and well maintained and gave a very good impression. In case you need to escape from the sun there is a selection of DVDs/CDs and games, not to forget some 150+ TV channels (incl Bloomberg, BBC etc). Downstairs the four bedrooms are neatly placed in a square which will give you some privacy should you need it. All have individual entrance to the pool area, where we spent many late afternoons. This side of the peninsula is less developed but have the most magnificent sunsets.
During our stay it was really hot (40+ Celsius) so we were immensely grateful for the well functioning (and quiet) AC, we slept extremely well. If you go for a swim in the sea below take it slow on the way back up (or have a cold Efes waiting) since this walk could be demanding when hot.
There is plenty of parking space for 2 big cars, make sure you rent a 4-wd since the slope is rather steep.
We very much enjoyed the hospitable owners, whom were an additional ingredient in a wonderful vacation. They will leave you in peace if you prefer, or you can ask and they will arrange boat trips, recommend restaurants or supermarkets or anything you might want to know. We went for the 2nd option and that saved a lot of time. In case you are interested in buying property Hakan will gladly show you some nice houses on the peninsula.

If you read this far you get the picture, This is a rental i can highly recommend, very suitable for active family/ies with older children. As a bonus youll get to know the owners and meet a friendly people with a great history.
We have been traveling for the last 6 months and this was one of the places we were most sad to leave.
The house was beautiful and appeared to be brand new. All the finishes were lovely it had a lighty and spacious feel about it. We really loved the outside areas, especially on the very broad terraces or around the pool. Each day we would walk down the steps to the sea and swim off the platform, this was great fun and the water was crystal clear. Everything worked, there was plenty of hot water, wifi worked etc etc.
Kate (a fellow Aussie) and her husband Hakan could not have been more welcoming. There were some basic provisions, fresh vegetables etc in the fridge, as well as a lovely welcome of red wine and some Turkish delight, neither of which lasted long.
They helped us greatly with suggestions for dining, babysitting and getting some admin done around town
The house is located about 5-10 minutes from town on a beautiful peninsula, we loved this because there was a feeling of space and tranquility in the area. Having said that there were very nice restaraunts nearby (lighthouse being one) as well as hammans for spa & massage. Every morning we walked the 'loop' which took about an hour and went round most of the peninsula - highly recommended.
What a great little town, all the amenities for tourists but still low key and charming. There were no pushy restaraunt owners and the shop keepers were also pretty laid back. There are many great things to do from here, but it was also just nice to spend days back in the the beautiful 'cape house'. We went in June so obviously it would be busier in July/August, but that's true of pretty much everywhere.
We can't fault this holiday experience and we highly recommend it.

Activities include scuba diving, canoeing, trekking, cliff parachuting, mountain biking, riding, fishing, archaeological sightseeing and best of all renting a boat for the day to visit the nearby coves and beaches for bar-b-cues and picnics.
