About this property

Southvale, Snettisham, Norfolk

A Victorian end terrace, traditional carrstone cottage nestled in the heart of this popular village, close to shops, pub, restaurant and local beaches. Located in a quiet side street, it makes a perfect holiday bolt hole for families, couples and friends at any time of the year.

A tasteful mix of classic and modern, Southvale has full central heating and is both spacious and comfortable. There are two bedrooms (king-size and twin) and two bathrooms (one is downstairs), a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove to snuggle up to when the nights draw in, a separate dining room and a well-equipped kitchen.

Little ones are well catered for, with travel cot and high chair, and two stairgates provided. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is also a very pretty enclosed rear garden which is a great suntrap (a perfect spot for having a glass of wine after a busy day out). It also has a shed that contains garden games.

The pleasant village of Snettisham offers something for everyone, whatever your age and whatever the weather! There is easy access to some wonderful beaches, wonderful birdwatching at Snettisham RSPB, lovely walks and cycling on the Peddars Way, and Sandringham House is just around the corner.

Cosy cottage in Snettisham
The cottage was clean and had everything we needed and more. Lots of beach stuff to use which made our beach day great. Good location for the North Norfolk beaches. Private parking and a secure garden was perfect for our dogs.

Warm, comfortable & clean.
An enjoyable week. Very clean, warm with ample information including maps and places to go. Very well equipped home, everything you need seems to be there. Comfortable bed and enough seating. Snettisham itself is convenient to get to lots of places around. There are lots of walks from the door. Thank you.

Everything we needed!
We escaped to W. Norfolk whilst our bathroom was being refitted and were delighted with the cottage. Everything we needed was there and it was very clean and comfortable. Lots to do in the surrounding area and whilst we mostly cooked at home, we treated ourselves to a meal at the Rose & Crown on the last night - recommended.

Delightful cosy home from home
Lovely, welcoming and very dog friendly, well equipped cottage in a very quiet and pretty area. Close to beaches and a decent supermarket for supplies. Plenty of games and films to occupy the evenings. Lots of information about local places of interest etc. We enjoyed a very relaxing long weekend away and would thoroughly recommend this beautiful, homely and welcoming little cottage.
