Modern self contained apartment in quiet location

Faro Vista is a 2 bedroom luxury apartment situated in a small development of 32 privately owned apartments which were completed in 2004.

It is located on the upper floor of this two storey development and enjoys stunning views of the sea and coves on the north side of the unspoilt village of El Cotillo. It has a 53m2 private roof terrace which offers perfect sheltered sunbathing as well as panoramic views of the coast and mountains.

It is available for rental throughout the year and is the perfect get-away-from-it-all destination with year round sunshine and daytime temperatures rarely dropping below 20 degrees Celsius.

The apartment is tastefully furnished to a high standard and includes everything necessary for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

El Cotillo: Visitors to El Cotillo tend to be people who know Fuerteventura quite well and are looking for an alternative to large built up resorts. It will not suit those looking for nightclubs and large crowds of people. Although not strictly essential, many people will find a car useful here and driving is surprisingly easy given the good quality main roads and the lack of traffic. Local taxi prices are reasonable and there is an hourly bus service to Corralejo and less frequent ones to Puerto del Rosario.

one week was enough

the owners rep met us at the property as arranged and showed us around, there was a problem with the bathroom sink which he explained and we excepted but thought it would be fixed in the week. Spanish families live below and each side and there was a lot of noise in the day and at night.

One day there was a problem withe the drains and the rep came to fix and the terrible smell went away. One night I touched the bedside light and the fuse tripped, I looked at the lamp fitting, it had been broken and had been reattached with white mastic and the fitting had come loose. The property could be good but it needs some TLC.

The apartment was very nice spaceous and most things you need in the apartment,

Steve who met us at the apartment was very good and and did everything for us.

The downside was the noise from the Spanish people living below us , they have a dog

That barks every time someone passed the apartment,we found it quite noisy at times.

There was a problem with the doors in the apartments when they were being shut they

made a lot of noise which echoed around the apartments,apart from that it was a pleasant stay.

Great apartment, good facilities. Roof Terrance is a real bonus.

Great time, we always enjoy our time in El Cotillo. Quiet and some really great places to eat. Apartment windows and doors could do with some hooks to allow you to keep them open without the wind blowing them shut. This is a real minor issue. Would use the apartment again with no problems (indeed I may be back next year).

Great Apartment

We had a very relaxing stay in this clean. comfortable and well equipped apartment.

Sun all day on the roof terrace and nice cool north facing balcony to cool down and relax on.

Steve and Gail do a great job of looking after the place for the owner.

We hope to return next year.

Comfortable and value for money

Good accomodation which was clean and well kitted out. Couple of things missing - bath matt and oven glove. However matt soon added after reporting. Convenient location with safe parking outside. Able to walk to near beaches however to get to the best car useful. Great people watching from the balcony. All bars/restaurants easily walkable. Good supermarket easy to walk to. Love El Cotillo and this is an excellent base. Enjoy!

The north west tip of Fuerteventura has long been a favourite of those looking for perfect beaches away from the crowds of the main resorts.

El Cotillo is a quiet fishing village that retains a traditional charm that has been lost in many of the bigger resort areas. It is still a working fishing village and much of the fish served in the local restaurants will have been landed that day in the harbour.

The property is close to a range of beaches with the nearest a mere 5 minutes walk away.

Other Activities: Kite surfing

Golf: Nearest course is at Corralejo about 20 minutes drive away. Caleta de Fuste has 2 more 18 hole courses which are about an hours drive away.
