Family Christmas at The Farmhouse
Staying in The Farmhouse at Trallwyn is cosy and such a tonic for the soul. We’ve just spent Christmas here with 11 of us in total. We all loved it and didn’t want to leave. There’s so much to do in the area either walking out on foot into the hills, or driving short distances to fabulous beaches and attractions. We have been coming to Trallwyn for almost 20 years and never tire of it. It’s a perfect place to recharge the batteries and escape the demands of modern life. Thoroughly recommend.
It was really great to have you and your lovely family here for Xmas in all the Cottages...I am glad you all enjoyed your stay! Thank you so much for your booking...And I look forward to seeing you in the New Year...All the very best Anna...
We weren't quite sure what to expect when we reserved the Farmhouse. We understood there were other cottages and a yurt in the same compound, but did not understand their relative locations. As it turned out, each option is fairly secluded (though some are connected and you can hear the water pipes), and we seldom ran into other guests. That said, this would be a great place for a large extended family to stay together. Anna is a kind soul and very accommodating. It's hard to express how cool it is to open the gate onto the moor and walk out to the Gors Fawr circle. We walked on the moor in sunlight, moonlight and mist. It was always gorgeous. The sheep were also very interesting. We loved that the house was fairly remote, but that we were able to get to St. Davids cathedral and other locations within an hour or two. The two runners in the family also enjoyed their early morning workouts on the quiet country lanes. Only one caution -- if you are tall, you might want to choose another unit or understand that you will need to crouch a little to use the shower. :)
I am so glad you enjoyed your stay...yes it is a beautiful remote area...it was lovely to meet you all...thank you so much for your booking...
Delightful Farmhouse in Pembrokeshire
We loved the farmhouse, so full of character and beautifully renovated. the cottage is very cosy and in the evenings we enjoyed sitting round the wood stove.
Trallwyn is a great base for adventuring on the Pembrokeshire hills and coastline. We found the beaches to be stunning. The highlights for the children were seeing the dolphins in Cardigan bay, surfing and doing pottery with Anna on rainy days.
We recommend the farmhouse as a perfect getaway.
