Modern interior one Super King /twin bedroom & 1 King 2 ensuite, pool, aircon

Typical cosy Mallorcan finca with a modernised interior consisting of a contemporary wet room & modern bathrooms with rain showers.

Fully fitted modern breakfast kitchen with two bar stools consisting of a double oven, induction hob, modern fridge/ freezer, granite worktop & sink, a typical Mallorcan log-burner & two reading chairs complete the kitchen.

Two bedrooms one with a king size bed and a second with a choice of either a super King or twin beds, air-con & each serviced by an en-suite.

A large maple dining table with 6 leather chairs sits in the dining hall leading to a large lounge with feature circular log-burner, 2 comfy sofas, and two armchairs for reading WiFi, Freestat and SMART TV, spectacular views towards the Tramuntama Mountain range.

Surrounding the finca on two sides are covered terraces with an outdoor kitchen bar-b-cue & a choice of 3 dining areas, along with an outdoor lounge. A fresh water pool with sun terrace, sun loungers & sun parasol. Out door shower room & utility room housing washing machine and dryer. An orchard comprising lemon, orange, plum, peaches, cherry and fig trees surrounded with 2 acres of almond trees.

A supermarket with a bakery is within walking distance, or alternatively 1 minute in a car, opening hours are 9am until 9pm Monday to Saturday and limited Sunday openings. A plentiful supply of restaurants are within a mile offering from the modern to the typical Mallorcan palette, in any direction.

The town of Inca supplies all your needs from shops, additional supermarkets, fish market and stores. A large weekly market on Thursdays presents both bountiful foods to fancy goods.

Weekly markets are located on Tuesdays in Campanet, Wednesday in Selva and Port de Pollensa, Thursdays in Inca and the Sunday market held in the old town of Alcudia and many more are found further afield.

Great Villa Central Location

The villa was spacious, well presented with all of the facilities we required for a fantastic holiday. All of the rooms were as advertised, spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. Bedrooms had ample storage space for holiday clothes, both en-suite bathrooms were good. Outside there was ample shade under the veranda with several eating areas in sun or shade for full dinning or a lunch snack overlooking the countryside and mountain views. The pool area had 4 comfortable sunbeds and a large parasol. The pool was great! The pool had steps at the shallow end. We greatly enjoyed and made very good use of the outdoor sitting area with a sofa and 2 arm chairs. Relaxing in the evenings after dinner following a hard day on the beach or sunbed. We have rented many villas but none have had this relative luxury, this was a real added bonus.

Several supermarkets were available in Inca, just a short 2 minute car ride back down the narrow lane or a 10 minutes walk to the nearest, being Eroski supermarket.

Booking arrangements with Janice were easy, quick, secure and straight forward. Location and key pick up information were clear and easy to follow.

This was a great base to visit any point of the beautiful island being centrally located near Inca.

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and I can highly recommend this villa.

El Sueno, a beautifully presented homely & traditional 'finca' or country house fitted with modern Bosch and Smeg kitchen appliances, is ideally situated in the peaceful countryside of the 'real Mallorca', yet within a short driving distance from the popular market town of Inca, with it's numerous squares, cafes, & restaurants offering an eclectic choice of all day and evening dining.

Inca is also home to the largest and most frequented weekly market on the island. It is also known for its leather production and several factory outlets, all perfect for bargain hunting.

Close by are the picturesque villages of Selva, Moscari, Caimari and Binabona, nestling at the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain range now given an international natural heritage status.

Moscari, a mere 1 kilometre away, offers 2 bars serving snacks and tasty tapas, and in the summer months, one can enjoy delicious homemade pizzas, juicy steaks and grills straight from the 'parilla' served on a delightful candlelit terrace, to the sounds of chill out music. Can Calco, a small boutique hotel, open to non-residents, has a terrace restaurant offering fish and other fine fare.

The small town of Selva, with it's attractive square and impressive church is also home to three good restaurants, Ca's Misser, Miseli and EsParc, all offering typical local dishes. A lovely walk can be found along the back streets of Selva taking the vistor eventually to the village of Mancor de la Vell, where on Thursdays the piscina bar offers an incredible 'value for money' menu del dia including paella.

Caimari, another quaint village, is famous for its production of local olive oil. Here you will also find a visitors centre where you can purchase the various oils and learn how they are produced. Near to the village square is a hidden Jem a small bistro offering organic food and presented in inventive tasting plates in a quaint setting.

Beyond Caimari and driving west through the stunning Tramuntana mountains, the Monastery of Lluc definitely merits a visit. Further on Sa Calobra, Soller, Valldemossa and Deia should most certainly be on the visitors list.

Atop a mountain close by, The Sanctuary of Santa Magdalena gives the visitor a 360degree panoramic view of the island and has a modern restaurant where in the evening one can enjoy suckling pig and other tasty Mallorcan fare.

A little further, the historical town of Sineu, holds weekly on Wednesday's a traditional livestock market and is definitely worth the short drive, and in the opposite direction the Roman town of Pollensa is highly recommended for its charm and wealth of fine restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

There are numerous beaches within easy access, Puerto Pollensa, Alcudia, Mal Pas and the stunning bay of Formentor to name but a few, all about 20 minutes away.

Palma, the fashionable capital of the island, with it's stunning cathedral, diverse architecture, wide promenade and marina, numerous squares, fountains, cafes, bars, and restaurants, should be on everyone's itinerary. There is a regular, efficient and inexpensive train service from Inca to Palma. The pleasant journey, through the countryside, takes a mere 20 minutes and the train stops right in the centre of the city. The town of Llubi also offers its own stunning Restuarant 'Dacia' very near to the village square.

Come and visit the 'real Mallorca'. You will not be disappointed!
