We are a family of 5 having moved to France in 2003. Our children have grown up and been educated in France and during that time our accommodation business has grown from 1 bed & breakfast to several rooms including 3 apartments and a cottage. The entire Manor is also available for rent.

This is a beautiful area, full of history and lush green countryside. It is safe, very friendly and a great way to really experience french culture. The weather from May to October ranges from 21 - 27 0C and Spring and Autumn seasons are particularly beautiful.

We are in an area of natural beauty beside one of France's largest national parks famous for its mushroom picking, boar and deer hunting, fishing and a place with miles of walking paths and cycling tracks.
There are many chateaux from ruins to beautiful interiors and extensive parks. An area of great history and legends including Sir Lancelot of the Lake.
People come from all over to the many 1 day or weekend, large brocantes that run from Easter to September.
It is also an area famous for its production of Calvados, apple and pear cider and local cheeses and biscuits - tours to see how it is made and local farm shops to taste and buy the products.
Horseriding centres for tracking in the forest and shows are only 5 mins away including the famous Haras du Pin.
This area is seeped in war history and only 1 hour away are the Normandy beaches, the war graves and many war museums. The famous Mont of Mont St Michel, the walled city and port of Dinard and the beautifu harbour of Dinan are also only 1 1/2 - 2 hrs away.
We have some of France's most beautiful villages and every summer many villages have their private gardens open to the public and chateaux open their grounds to plant and flower festivals.
If you are interested in well-being or just want to relax our local town has a famous Bio spa resort where you can get anything from a simple massage to a mud bath or pool exercises.
For golf enthusiasts there are a number of very inexpensive golf courses. Antique 'Brocantes' shops are in almost every local village.
Shopping on a large scale is done at Caen, just over 1 hour away where all large international brands can be found in the many retail outlets.
If you wish to visit Paris it is only 2 hrs away on the train and many of our guests have made the trip in 1 day.
Le Mans, less than 2 hrs, holds the famous 24 hr car race as well as many other track races from vintage cars to motorbikes.
