With three bathrooms and three bedrooms, the house provides luxury accommodation at this spectacular spot. There are wonderful sea views from most windows with an array of ships providing continual interest. Views are back into Plymouth sound and the famous Hoe and Breakwater, along the south Devon coast to Dartmouth and out to the open English Channel. "Have been visiting Plymouth for over 40 years but this is the best view ever." Guest JB July 2018.
Seals can regularly be spotted in the sea below the house and occasionally dolphins. The area is perfectly placed to observe bird migration and is renowned for affording rare sightings of migratory species during the spring and autumn. The Cornwall Wildlife Trust Reserve of Penlee Battery is just above the property boasting one of the few populations of the bee orchid in Cornwall amongst chamomile, wild basil, wild flax, yellow bartsia, salad burnet and goat's-beard.
The house is on the South West Coastal Path with Rame Head a delightful half hour walk away. The twin villages of Cawsand and Kingsand are walking distance and have several foodie pubs.
