The house of the Castilian date of 1900 and has been renovated, with the concern to maintain its original character. Its total living area amounts to 800 sq m. There are a total of 8 rooms, four rooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and several support areas to kitchens, to the halls and rooms. It is extremely spacious and environments are particularly nice.

It is located in the most noble of Mount Estoril, a particularly quiet and pleasant street.

Results from the junction of two semi-detached houses (which in the ceiling, can accommodate up to 10 people each), it is quite possible empowers them and rent them separately to host smaller groups who wish a more private atmosphere.

It has rear garden, part of it covered with grass and one with Portuguese sidewalk and offers various outdoor laser spaces, with two pools with about 12 square meters each and two areas of very nice barbecue.

The house is fit to receive groups of 20 people (10 + 10), but is also ready to accommodate groups or families of two or more people and can provide all the privacy and independence to those who want to have a quiet holiday.

Is fully furnished and equipped with noble materials and equipment, quality and decoration, which is particularly carefully, it gives a very warm and pleasant atmosphere.

It offers everything you need in a holiday home, including additional beds, bedding, bath towels, baby beds, bicycle, televisions with international channels and internet.

Exceeded all expectations!

Our family stayed in one villa for the week of 10-17 June 2017 and then both villas for the week of 17-24 June when more family members joined us. We were so lucky to have found these villas, as they fit the bill perfectly! Without fail, as each group arrived, they commented favourably on the accommodation and the facilities inside the houses and in the garden area and said that they were even better than they had expected from what they had seen on the website - which already looked really good.

The houses are well furnished and equipped, and are full of intriguing retro artefacts around the rooms, on a range of themes. We enjoyed exploring and viewing these - they added to the warmth and character of the interior environment. There was a strong sense of feeling that we were in a home, rather than simply in rented accommodation. The kitchens were well equipped, and this made catering easy for those meals we prepared at home. We also used the BBQ which was conveniently situated next to the outside dining area.

There are several mini-markets, including a Spar (great butcher in here - try his sausages!), in different directions, all within a 5-minute walk from the property, as well as bakeries, cafes and restaurants within a similar distance.

The children and adults enjoyed the pools every day and there was ample space and seating around this area for relaxing and conversation while watching the more energetic members of our party. The outside dining areas had a shaded cover/awning, which was very welcome for those who prefer a shadier spot.

Best of all was that we had such excellent and personable hostesses - the two Marias, who are cousins - who were accessible, generous and helpful with all of our questions, and whose supportive yet unobtrusive presence was greatly valued by us all. They take pride in ensuring that the accommodation and gardens are maintained to a high standard, as well as providing the highest possible level of customer service to their guests. They deserve every credit for the quality of the experience we shared on our holiday.

As stated in the headline, this holiday exceeded our expectations and when the time came, we did not want to leave. If you are thinking about staying here for your holiday, and the dates are available, book without hesitation before someone else does - you will not be disappointed!

Lovely House, Convenient Location

We stayed in one of the two adjoining houses for a week at the beginning of June. First thing to say is that this is not a bog-standard, soulless holiday rental. A lot of love and care has gone into the individual furnishing of each room with personal touches and it's all the more homely for that. There were five of us and the house was more than big enough to accommodate all of us - there were four bedrooms (three doubles and a twin) and three bathrooms (two en suite and another shared between the other two rooms) plus two large rooms downstairs and a big kitchen with loads of crockery and every conceivable utensil you could ever need. There is also a garden at the rear with a small pool and sunbathing area. The only very slight comment I would make is that the stairs are quite steep and there are also some steps and a slope in the garden, so it maybe wouldn't be the best for people with walking difficulties, but other than that, there were no drawbacks as far as I was concerned.

The location was around a ten minute walk from Monte Estoril station (train to Lisbon from there takes around 40 minutes) is and probably 20-25 minutes to the centre of Cascais (a really nice walk along the seafront). I didn't walk to Estoril myself, but would estimate that it would be slightly closer to walk than Cascais. The final part of the return walk is uphill from the station, but taxis are available from Cascais centre for around 5 Euros if you don't want to bother with that.

Maria was a very helpful and responsive host and was there to meet us with some provisions including a lovely chocolate cake! She also responded promptly to all our enquiries before we travelled.

To sum up, I would recommend the house highly. Our party all love the area and the house was a wonderful place to stay to experience it both for convenience to walk to Cascais and to get to Lisbon and Sintra if that's what you want to do.

A wonderful home away from home

I hired out the entire property (both houses) for a birthday weekend for ten people. What a beautiful, traditional house it is! When we arrived there was wine, freshly baked bread and cheese and chocolate cake to welcome us. This house has everything you'll need - fully equipped kitchens, comfortable bedrooms each with their own modern TV, wireless internet - it is impossible to think of anything we lacked during our stay.

The outside areas are beautiful with two pools and two separate BBQ areas. Even with 10 people everyone felt they had their own space and we all found ourselves feeling at home within a few hours.

The property is located in a quiet street near Monte Estoril. There is a mini supermarket 5 minutes down the road which stocks pretty much everything you might need. It is a further 5 minute walk to the nearest train station, Monte Estoril, with a 30 minute journey into Lisbon. But Estoril has so much to offer with so many nice restaurants and bars, there is really no need to go into Lisbon at all! The wonderful Cascais is a 20 minute walk away. We found getting taxis on Uber extremely simple and easy.

At all times Maria was helpful, friendly and relaxed, while respecting our privacy throughout our stay.

I cannot recommend this property enough. Many of our party talked of returning another time. Thanks so much, Maria.

A superb Villa with a great location.

We spent five days at this charming villa . The two Marias offered excellent customer service. They were never intrusive but always there if we needed them.

One of our party fell ill & they organised a fried to take him to the local hospital & stayed with him throughout the consultation.

I would recomend this property to anyone holidaying in the area.

Charming property in perfect location

We were a party of 5 , none of whom were disappointed. Villa owner Maria was outstanding with her welcome and helpfulness including assistance when a medical emergency arose. She gave great tips on restaurants. Useful as we like to dine out. Within walking distance we found excellent eateries with special mention to Monte Bistro. All in all this trip was a delight. I would highly recommend this owner and her property. Thank you !!!

Country style holiay rental, perfect well located

We had a lovely stay in one of the houses, our first ever visit to Portugal.

Situated in a residential area of Monte Estoril, not far from the beach, station, shops, and some superb well priced restaurants. The train was handy for getting to and from Lisbon and Cascais. During our stay we had a medical emergency and the owner Maria organised a friend to take us to the hospital who stayed with us to help. We cant thank everyone enough. Thoroughly recommendable
