This bright open-plan 2 bed/ 2 bath apartment overlooks the ever-changing port of Estepona from the 4th floor. There is secure access, two pools in landscaped gardens, 2 lifts and private underground parking. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with built in fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, extractor fan, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery and crockery. The kitchen opens into the dining/living area where the dining table has seating for 6. The living area has comfortable seating with Wifi and Satellite TV showing English/Spanish channels with a DVD player. There is also an AM/FM radio combined with a Docking Station for your personal music. The main veranda has a table, 4 chairs and a sun lounger. The Master bedroom has a super king-sized bed, en-suite bath, built-in wardrobe and an enclosed veranda for sitting in the cooler weather. The front bedroom has twin beds, en suite bath, iron and board, built-in wardrobe, TV and a private veranda looking towards the port entrance and Gibraltar. All towels and linen plus a welcome pack are provided for your comfort.

General facilities: The apartment building sits within well manicured gardens. The entrance is through a secure door with intercom communications for access and two lifts taking you to the fourth floor.

A double pool (main and paddling) looks towards the port and the sea beyond from within the communal gardens. There are two outdoor showers and sun parasols. We provide beach towels and light folding chairs to be used in the communal gardens.

You will have a reserved private parking spot in a secure underground garage which is also served by the lifts.

Immediate vicinity: The building is a very short downhill walk to all the restaurants, shops, pubs and activities in the port. Although the apartment does offer Wifi, there are free hotspots in several of the friendly restaurants in the port. 'De La Mar' is our favourite. There are two good supermarkets within a 5 minute walk and a government tourist office across the street. A bus stop is literally outside the building and a taxi stand can be found at the roundabout by the port entrance.

At the eastern end of the port, where the fishing boats moor is the 'Los Escolleros'. This fish restaurant is a must. Only open during the day and closed on Mondays, it mainly caters to the local residents and is very noisy but serves the best seafood ever.

The closest beach is the Playa Del Cristo which is small, sandy, shallow and safe. It is a Blue Flag beach and has a full range of facilities with beach restaurants (chiringitos), lifeguard posts, changing rooms, showers, first aid and wheel chair access. Loungers and umbrellas can be rented. These facilities apply to all Estepona beaches.

Towards Estepona: On the eastern side of the port, starting at Los Escolleros, the longer Playa De La Rada Beach begins at the port and stretches nearly 3 kilometres east to the town of Estepona. This is also a Blue Flag beach. The Paseo Maritimes walkway escorts the La Rada beach its entire length with seating and covered areas making the 20 minute walk into town both relaxing and picturesque. Why not stop along the way for a drink and tapas?

Festivals and celebrations stretch from February through August.

The tourist office across the road from the apartment has a full selection of upcoming activities and attractions.

This is our home away from home and we hope you enjoy it and the surrounding area as much as we do. Please treat it as you would your own home. We have tried to provide everything we could think of to make your visit comfortable. We hope you enjoy your stay with us. You will be met at the apartment when you arrive to receive your keys. As an extra service we can arrange for your pick up and drop off at the airport. A welcome pack consisting of bread, butter, marmalade, milk, coffee, tea and drinking water is provided. We have left instructions for the TV and DVD in the drawer beneath. The combination Docking Station and AM/FM radio has an operations manual in several languages. The instructions for the washing machine and dishwasher are on the wall above each appliance. WiFi is provided in the flat.

We were delighted with this property views to die for and two minutes from all amenities, the property itself has all the facilities that you could wish for whether it a short break or longer rental, would I stay again, no hesitation and I would certainly recommend this property

Everything that we expected and more.

Apartment was perfect, everything we needed was there and the ever changing view from the balcony with the boats going in and out we could not ask for more. The port and Estepona itself gave us everything we needed for a relaxing carefree holiday, so good even though we had hired a car we only used it once, it just sat in the underground car park.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Zoe and Steve for making it the perfect holiday as their apartment was everything we hoped for and we will be recommended it to our family and friends.

Great property in a prime location

We were delighted with the apartment. Bright, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of outside space everything you could need. Just a short walk to the port. We visit Estepona frequently and would certainly rebook this property.

Perfect location

fantastisk udsigt

Dejlig lejlighed i rolige omgivelser, skøn pool til store og små. Der er desværre ikke aircondition i lejligheden, så der var meget varmt om natten i juli måned. Dejlige værelser med gode senge. De liggestole der er i lejligheden er strand stole, og ikke liggestole. Der er ingen gangsti til vandet, man skal ud af komplekset for at komme til vandet og havnen. Lejligheden var pæn og ren ved ankomst, den er slidt og trænger til et tjek ang.manglende lys/pærer i mange lamper. Udsigten er som på billederne utroligt flot. Vi kan varmt anbefale den. Restauranten M10 på havnen kan vi anbefale, hvis man kan lide bøffer.

Owner's Response: We are pleased for the feedback which helps us keep the standards. The air conditioning has not been an issue in the past as we always open the windows for the sea breeze to keep things cool. There is one sun lounger on the main veranda which is about all that will fit. We have no control over footpaths to the water. Any lights or lamps that become unserviceable are immediately replaced as soon as our guests notify our agent. Again, all reviews are taken very seriously.

En dejlig lejlighed

Vi var yderst tilfredse med vores ophold i denne skønne lejlighed , som indeholder alt hvad man har brug for. Sengene er gode og udsigten over havnen, hvor der altid sker noget, er fantastisk. Det var også meget betænksomt og en overraskelse , at man for vores skyld anskaffede danske programmer til fjernsynet. At der er parkeringsplads i kælderen og elevator i bygningen er også et stort plus. Estepona er en hyggelig by og busstoppestedet ligger lige foran døren, hvis man vil spare gåturen. Vi kan anbefale denne lejlighed til alle der ønsker at besøge Estepona.

Traditionally Spanish Estepona enjoys its own micro-climate of warm summers and mild winters. Airlines fly to Gibraltar and Malaga. The active fishing port and luxury marina offer a myriad of restaurants, pubs, shops and hair dressers. Two supermarkets are within a 5 minute walk and you can arrange dolphin watching, sport fishing and diving. There are 17 beaches with full facilities within the 13 miles of coastline. A 20 minute walk takes you to Estepona which is of the old style with many narrow twisty pedestrian streets and lively tree-lined squares to explore. The Sunday Market in the port and the Wednesday Market up the hill create a shopping mix for tourists and locals alike. The local produce is superb. A new world class gym and spa has just opened nearby called La Mesa. Hiking opportunities beckon in the mountains that rise behind the town. Scenic Rhonda is not far up into the mountains, Gibraltar is 40 minutes away by car, Malaga is about 1hour by road and historic Granada is worth a day trip.

There are 9 golf courses just between Estepona and Puerto Banus to the East.

To the west, at Soto Grande, you will find the world class course of Valderrama.

In the winter there is snow skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains which are about a 2 hour drive away.
