A Luxury, spacious, fully furnished air-conditioned 2 bedrooms (sleeps 5) 2 bathroom garden apartment in the private gated residential resort of El Higueron near Benalmadena Pueblo. Only a 20 minute drive from Malaga Airport. Private garage parking. Two large outdoor swimming pools, set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens, water features and fountains. This superb apartment offers a fully equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher. It is fully furnished with hot/cold air-conditioning throughout. The apartment is extremely child friendly with large open areas of grass to play and a large swimming pool all within sight of the apartment’s private patio area. This is equipped with a six setter table, and sun-loungers’. Wi Fi available and included from 2017.

The property benefits from a miniature land train that runs past the apartment providing an hourly service to and from the beach, station and shops.

Fantastic! Walk straight into the garden and pool! 5*

The apartment had everything you need for your holiday. It's our 7th time staying in this area and we have loved it everytime. But on this occasion it was even better as we were on the ground floor with a wonderful patio to sit and relax in the evenings. The children had an amazing time in the pool. Thanks Julia you made our holiday a very enjoyable time

Wonderful apartment

My family of 4 Spent a week during half term in this lovely spacious, clean and beautifully furnished apartment.

The apartment has everything from aircom, a well- equipped kitchen, close proximity to a large pool that the children enjoyed using (children don't care about the freezing cold water! ) and the added bonus of British t.v. Channels to watch if not relaxing on the veranda with a glass of wine. We hired a car during our stay and took advantage of the secure parking facility associated with the apartment - which is free.

The owner provided excellent customer service from the first enquiry to leaving the apartment - very friendly and informative giving us lots of options of what to do during our stay.

As a family we like to visit the local attractions, of which there are plenty, so I would advise hiring a car and go out and explore. However, we did use the local transport on a couple of occasions (train and buses) and found these were excellent and very cheap.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at the apartment and would like to publicly Thank the owner for a great experience. We would highly recommend our friends and family to visit here.

Lovely apartment

We (2 adults and 2 kids aged 7 and 3) enjoyed our week in this apartment, it was very spacious and full of all home comforts. Positioned very close to the pool, which got plenty use and has a lovely patio and grassy garden directly off the patio. Just a few negatives, there is no paddling pool for kids (I'm sure our 3 yr old would have loved one) the location of Reserva Del Higueron is on a hill and you would not walk to the shops or to the beach....There is a train that does a route up and down but it's only at certain times so if you miss it you have to wait another hour to get it. We were quite happy not doing much this year so it was ok, and overall I would recommend this apartment. Julia was lovely to deal with as was the apartment manager Babbs, who kindly accommodated our late arrival and late departure.

It is like a second home to us and so does have all home comforts etc. There is no escaping that hill! We have guests who come for two weeks and happily walk up and down and use the land train and the normal train which runs from the station at Carvajal. Equally we have guests who hire a car, taking advantage of the secure garage space, and explore further afield.

Perfect relaxing

It was our 4th time in this apartment and that tells a lot!

Everything you need is in the apartment and the environment is so lovely..the pool is very near the own back yard, so it is very easy to get there but the area is peaceful and safe.

We hired a car only for few days and of course it is easier to go to many places by driving, but we have never had any problems without a car either..the small local "train" goes every day between the beach and El Higueron and often we simply walked down to the station and took the "real" train to get somewhere and took a taxi when we came back ( it is not expensive there ).

Everything has always been very easy with the owner and there is always someone who gives you the keys by arrival and helps you if you have something to ask .

So I would absolutely recommend this place to my friends, if they are looking for total relaxing and want to spend a nice family holiday.

The apartment is near the old Benalmadena Pueblo. Easy walking distance from the beach and sea front restaurants at Carvajal, where there is also a train station with trains to Malaga, Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Many golf courses in easy reach. The costa with all it's atttractions and water parks, crocodile land, markets etc is a a maximum iof 10 minutes away. Inland a more traditional Spain is found within 20-30 minutes drive with tapas bars and bull rings. Granada and Ronda are about 90 minutes drive whereas Marbella and Puerto Banus are about 25 mins to see how the other half live!!
