A Luxury, spacious, fully furnished air-conditioned 2 bedrooms (sleeps 5) 2 bathroom garden apartment in the private gated residential resort of El Higueron near Benalmadena Pueblo. Only a 20 minute drive from Malaga Airport. Private garage parking. Two large outdoor swimming pools, set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens, water features and fountains. This superb apartment offers a fully equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher. It is fully furnished with hot/cold air-conditioning throughout. The apartment is extremely child friendly with large open areas of grass to play and a large swimming pool all within sight of the apartment’s private patio area. This is equipped with a six seater table, and sun-loungers’. Wi Fi included.

The property benefits from a land train that runs past the apartment providing an hourly service to and from the beach, station and shops.

Luxurious spacious two bed, two bathroom apartment by the pool.

This is the best holiday apartment we (two adults and two teenagers and a ten year old) have ever stayed in due to it's space, second bathroom and excellent air conditioning throughout. We had free wifi and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment is located on the ground floor a few steps away from the pool. There is a six person table and chairs both inside and outside and a number of sun loungers which can be easily transported to the pool area. The complex is quiet and the pool never got overcrowded while we were there, August 16th - 30th 2018. You have to bring your own sun lounger which means that there is never a stampede to reserve one.

The complex is up a very steep hill which we did not find ourselves able to climb up in the heat of the day although others did walk it, but there is a free road train which runs every hour to take you uphill to the supermarket or downhill to the beach. If you do hire a car then just a bit further up the top of the hill are an ALDI and a LIDL.

The local train halt, Carvajal, is down the hill and trains run every 20 mins in both directions Malaga - Fuengirola.

Everything you could wish for

The apartment was just what we needed . Well equipped and so easy to manage. The living area was spacious and comfortable and the outside patio and grassed area gave extra room to spread out . Having the swimming pool close by was very convenient and we spent considerable time relaxing by the pool in the afternoons after having walked along the sea front during the mornings or playing golf at one of the nearby golf courses.

We had a rental car for the the entire holiday and I would say that it is essential if one is to get the most out of the locality. Having the use of a garage space is a big bonus as the complex is relatively busy and there are lots of vehicles parked along the roads. Due to having the car we never had any problem with the hill down to or back from to the sea front. The car was also an asset when nipping up to the supermarket or to one of the takeaway restaurants at the top of the complex.

The location of the apartment is excellent. There are many very good restaurants a few minutes drive away and Benalmadena Pueblo is an interesting small town only 5 minutes away by car. In the Pueblo there are lots of restaurants to suit most tastes and many bars to sit and chill out.

All in all we had a most enjoyable time and we hope to return next year to the same apartment.

Lovely apartment, great family holiday

Stayed here for 8 nights. Had a great family holiday. Girls loved it. Ages 4 and 2. Lovely resort with 2 swimming pools. Pool depth 1m to 2m. Nice quiet location but not far from the main resorts. Train service from bottom of road. we hired a car and would recommend doing so as the apartment is on a steep hill. Julia is a great owner and swiftly answers any questions. Very helpful lady.

Hopefully return in the future for another great holiday.

Fantastic! Walk straight into the garden and pool! 5*

The apartment had everything you need for your holiday. It's our 7th time staying in this area and we have loved it everytime. But on this occasion it was even better as we were on the ground floor with a wonderful patio to sit and relax in the evenings. The children had an amazing time in the pool. The apartment is near the old Benalmadena Pueblo. Easy walking distance from the beach and sea front restaurants at Carvajal, where there is also a train station with trains to Malaga, Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Many golf courses in easy reach. The costa with all it's atttractions and water parks, crocodile land, markets etc is a maximum of 10 minutes away. Inland a more traditional Spain is found within 20-30 minutes drive with tapas bars and bull rings. Granada and Ronda are about 90 minutes drive whereas Marbella and Puerto Banus are about 25 mins to see how the other half live!!
