White Rose is located on the lovely North Cornwall coast between the surfing beach at Polzeath and the beautiful beach at Daymer Bay, ideal for families with young children.

Converted from a bungalow to a house in 2015, together with a major makeover, the accommodation includes a spacious and bright open plan kitchen/living room area looking out on to a sheltered enclosed garden. Downstairs there is a double and a twin bedroom, plus a family bathroom. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one a twin with adjoining shower room for use by guests, and the other which is kept for use by the owners of White Rose. Additionally there is a seating area on the landing with a TV point, ideal for chilling out! Equipped with wi-fi, there is a TV and DVD in the sitting room area, and duvets, blankets, pillows and tea towels are all provided.

There is off-road parking for four cars leading to a porch for putting coats, shoes, beach gear or even a folded pushchair. In the garden there is a decking area and a built-in BBQ, and a combination of hedges and shrubs provides a welcome level of privacy.

Within walking distance of White Rose are shops in Polzeath, pubs and restaurants, plus the beautiful North Cornwall coastal path. Besides swimming at Polzeath Beach, Daymer Bay is excellent for windsurfing and kite surfing, and nearby Rock provides opportunities for sailing and water skiing. St Enodoc and The Point at Polzeath golf courses are both within 10 minutes' drive, and cycling along the Camel Trail is a lovely way of spending a day out.

Even in winter a perfect location

The house is lovely and bright, clean and welcoming with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The owners are so helpful and accessible and we will definitely revisit. Perfect position for wonderful beaches, walks and a must to visit Padstow for the best fish n chips ever.

fantastic for a family holiday

The owners were lovely and easy to deal with. The place was ideal for us as we have 2 small children so the open plan kitchen/diner with direct access to the secure garden made life easy. The children loved the beach, having 3 within short walking distance meant we were spoilt for choice! Look forward to coming again.

Perfect house in North cornwall

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for a week recently. The house is spacious, very well equipped (has wifi) and only a few minutes walk to Polzeath beach. It was easy to organise and the owner was very prompt with their responses. We had such a great time we have already booked another week in June with the rest of our family where the BBQ in the garden will be utilised!

The perfect city gettaway!

White Rose is in the perfect spot, walking distance to everything you need so you barely need your car once you've arrived. The house is bright, spacious and sparklingly clean. It was great to get out of London (only a 4.5 hour drive or you can fly to Newquay and hire a car there) and spend days walking on the beach, pub lunches and the requisite trip to Padstow for fish & chips and fudge. Iain was extremely responsive and helpful - we will be renting it again!

WOW!!

Wow! - On returning to White Rose after its refit, we were not sure what we would find. We had holidayed before at the bungalow (White Rose) and had loved everything about it. Its comfortable, homely feel, its proximity to one of Cornwall's best beaches (Polzeath) and the amazing coastal walks just across the way, round to Daymar Bay and Rock. White Rose has been extensively refitted and extended into the roof, and the transformation is amazing.We were met by an open plan living space with a fantastic new kitchen, and bright, modern living/dining space with windows on three sides. The new upstairs twin bedroom and bathroom are a great addition to the two original bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor. What a relief, White Rose has lost none of its charm and we cant wait to get back again soon. Well done, Iain and Ros!!

Lovely house, perfect holiday!

We (2 adults, 2 children,2 dogs), had a wonderful fortnigt at White Rose. This was our second visit and the recent renovations have transformed this bungalow into a 2 storey property. the inside has been completely refurbished (as shown in the photos) to a high standard and is very well-equipped and comfortable. we initially chose this property as it has an enclosed private garden-a must for our 2 dogs. there is also a shower attachment on the outside tap which is perfect for hosing down the dogs, wetsuits and children! The house is in a perfect position for an easy walk into Polzeath and to Daymer Bay, (a dog-friendly beach.)

Thanks to Ros and Iain for the welcome tea, milk and biscuits on arrival.

White Rose is situated on the beautiful north coast of Cornwall between Polzeath Beach and Daymer Bay, close to the town of Wadebridge, the famous fishing town of Padstow, and the fishing village of Port Isaac. White Rose is within easy walking distance of the surfing beach at Polzeath, shops and pubs/restaurants in Polzeath, the ideal family beach at Daymer Bay, and less than ten minutes drive from Rock which offers sailing, waterskiing and fishing trips. A ferry service operates from Rock across to Padstow.

Besides the lovely beaches of Polzeath and Daymer Bay, walking along the coastal path close by provides wonderful views of the rugged coastline and Camel Estuary. There are also two golf courses within ten minutes drive.

Tourist attractions nearby include the Eden Project, the surfing resort of Newquay and the village of Port Isaac, setting for the TV series Doc Martin.

Easy access to Polzeath is via the A30 and A38 main roads, whilst Bodmin Parkway provides a rail service to Paddington, and nearby Newquay Airport provides a daily service to London Stansted.

Golf: The renowned St. Enodoc golf course is approximately 3 miles away. It has two 18-hole courses, a driving range and putting green.

The other local course is at 'The Point at Polzeath' which is approximately 2 miles away. It has one 18-hole course, plus a swimming pool, tennis courts and a restaurant.

There are further golf courses within twenty minutes' drive.
