With the most stunning views over the Penryn River to Falmouth from most rooms, an impressive Grade II listed three-story house standing shoulder to shoulder with its neighbors in pretty Flushing village, all keeping watch over the water.

Newly renovated from top to bottom, it has been totally transformed from its 18th Century origins and is now the smartest of seaside homes made thoroughly modern and comfortable with huge attention to detail. There is a large family kitchen diner, two lounges, and three double or twin bedrooms with three bathrooms. The addition of a reserved parking space on the quayside is an added benefit.

The pretty courtyard garden has luxurious planting on both sides leading to the sea wall with steps down to the river, and has two seating areas that are ideal for al-fresco dining. It is the perfect place to enjoy a drink with the sun setting over the river.

Complimentary Wifi Internet access is available for guests at Riverside.

Riverside boasts a spacious modern fully equipped kitchen with fan oven, microwave and large fridge with separate freezer, although with 2 pubs and a fantastic restaurant all steps away you may not use it! The large dining table seats six in comfort.

Riverside boasts 2 lounges. The main lounge is a bright open-plan room linked with the kitchen / diner. It has a contemporary log burner and waterside views. The second lounge has patio doors opening onto the waterside courtyard and shares the sea views.

The master bedroom has stunning views with a Juliet balcony over the water plus a seating area - a very luxurious place to enjoy a morning cup of tea! The second bedroom has twin beds and the third (with sea views) has twin beds plus an en suite bathroom. Quality John Lewis bed linen and towels are provided at no extra cost. The house benefits from a comprehensive weekly clean.

A clean, modern ground floor bathroom with shower allows flexibility while the large family bathroom has a freestanding bath and large power shower. Both are fully tiled and finished to a high standard. The third bedroom is en suite with large shower.

The house has an efficient new central heating system with unlimited hot water on demand. A wireless broadband connection is available free of charge. For those with young children there is a cot and high chair at the cottage. Well behaved dogs are welcome. reserved parking is available on the quayside adjacent to the property.

Flushing is one known to be one of the warmest villages in the UK because it has an idyllic sheltered south-facing aspect. It has quiet streets lined with traditional terraced fisherman’s cottages, and beautiful unspoilt surrounding countryside.

Many Cornish villages have become over crowded with tourists, but Flushing is much quieter, even during peak season, and it still benefits from a strong and vibrant community.

Flushing has two pubs, a stunning waterside restaurant located on the quayside both within stumbling distance and a friendly well-stocked general store. It also has a Sailing Club that welcomes guests, and it’s own dog-friendly beach.

A passenger ferry runs a regular service between Flushing and Falmouth. It also connects with the ferries to St Mawes, Mylor, Trelissick and Truro. In summer the Fal River boats offer trips to the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan, and onwards to Truro. A local water taxi service also runs around the bay.
