Great location. Very clean. Highly recommend. We will return.
We absolutely loved staying on the beautifully updated, clean houseboat. Diana warmly welcomed us and provided all necessary information. She also arranged taxi service from/back to the airport as well as for private tour pickup locations. The fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room with dining table/chairs and wonderful patio on the canal added so much charm to our Amsterdam visit. Nearby shops and restaurants were an added plus. We definitely made the right decision to select the Lade Jane!
Had a lovely experience overall!
We had a great stay at this amazing houseboat. It’s on a quieter canal but still has many boats going by to watch. The houseboat is in a residential neighbourhood with many restaurants and bars close by. It is an easy short walk to all the museums and back into the main canal areas. It’s exactly as pictured and it was spotless. Check in and out was a breeze. We would recommend this houseboat to anyone who is looking for a unique quiet stay in central Amsterdam.
Canal living - that's the life!
The Houseboat was great, very clean and with a lot of room (other than perhaps the bedroom which is a bit small, but the bed was very comfortable) and exactly as shown on the pictures. The location which is in the Museum District, is quiet and yet there are some great restaurants nearby, and it was not a long walk to the central areas. We particularly loved sitting on the small deck and watching the boats and the river birds go by. Really relaxing. In terms of some small suggestions, the owners might want to consider a guest book - in many places we have rented before we have had the advantage of comments and restaurant suggestions from previous renters contained in a guest book. It just provides some additional local information. There was an incredibly close restaurant, Cafe Toussaint which our host referred us to and it was excellent and very "comfortable". We went there twice. And also close was a great Thai restaurant, The Blue Pepper. Our hosts arranged for transportation from the airport, which was reasonably priced and our check in process was efficient and thorough. Thanks Diana!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lady Jade. The houseboat was a perfect ending to our trip through Europe. It is in a very residential area so we experienced what the locals might. We loved being on the canal and it was enhanced by being there for Kings Day. The parade of people in boats was a once in a lifetime experience. The location was convenient to everything, Anne Frank House, museums, Dam Sq, etc. Amsterdam is a walking city and we walked everywhere, but beware of bicycles and scooters. Check out the Soul to Soul Cafe two blocks away. Diana was their to greet us and allowed us to store our luggage during cleaning. She filled us in on the neighborhood, arranged our airport transfer, and was the perfect hostess. Highly recommend Lady Jade.
This completely new refurbished houseboat is located in the heart of the city and is a famous Jordaan district, Leidse square, Vondelpark and much more.
The firts tram stop is only 400 meters away from this luxury houseboat.
