The perfect intimate hideaway for a romantic couple’s break, Keepers Tallet is a stunning studio loft apartment in a former stable block, with comforts brought very much up to date.
Keepers Tallet is one of seven barns sensitively converted from a former 18th century dairy farm at Kilmington Barns. Located on a hillside above the village of Kilmington with wonderful views over the Axe Valley and the Jurassic Coast, the barns are set amongst 100 acres of beautiful private countryside.
Sleeping two in chilled out loft living, Keepers Tallet has a uniquely modern feel and spades of original character. Accessed by an external stone staircase you’ll find a wonderfully light open plan studio with vaulted ceilings. Comprising a lounge area with dining zone, there’s a kitchen in an alcove towards the rear of the studio, a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with separate shower.
Wallow in the range of activities that can be arranged both on and off site. Or simply kick back and relax. You’ll find the Hideaway Spa nestled within the tranquil settings, offering a hot tub and sauna, plus unique treatments delivered by highly trained therapists. We’ve detailed more in the “Things to Do” section.
The kitchen is more than ready if you want to cook that romantic meal yourself. If not, simply have one of the highly rated chefs onsite drop off a meal direct to your door. Or check out the onsite bar with adjoining new restaurant offering freshly prepared, locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
