Why not pay a visit to the apartment’s namesake? An old brewery where you can try out some local delicacies. Thirst buds quenched you still have lots to see and do. Take the nearby U-Bahn into the centre and check out all the sights. You’ve got a great comfy base to go back to. It’s warm and inviting. So sit back, make yourself at home and relax.
Prenzlauer Berg is a fashionable area north of Mitte. Interesting bars, bohemian cafés and kitsch boutiques dot its most frequented streets like Kastanienallee and Oderberger Straße. It doesn't have the edge that Kreuzberg has, but it's a great place to visit for its laid-back atmosphere.
To get a feel for the local area, head to the Mauerpark. This former border strip has a fleamarket on Sundays as well as spontaneous parties that last well into the night. The nearby Kulturbrauerei also offers frequent night time entertainment.
