Very clean, well appointed, extremely comfortable, and close to the Tube.

  • 5 of 5

Nicky & Nick are gracious hosts. Gave us a nice welcome gift, took time to walk us throughout the huge flat, showed us everything -- very gracious and patient. The flat is beautifully furnished, has every amenity, and is very comfortable. 100 meters to the Tube, in a nice residential neighborhood. Great place from which to explore London!

Great house and location

  • 5 of 5

This is a fantastic house to stay in. The location is about a 1 minute walk to the Tube station. There are a couple of grocery stores close by and several dining options. The house was very clean and suited our needs well. Prior to our stay, Nic and Nicky were responsive to messages and upon arrival, Nic met us there and was very helpful and kind. If I had to come up with something negative to say, it would be that I found the beds to be too firm for me, but my travel companions didn't complain much about them. I highly recommend staying here and I would stay here again if I am lucky enough to go back to London!

Comfortable, convenient and classy!

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed the Pump House! It was comfortable and convenient, a great place to stay on our first visit to London. Our hosts were very hospitable, and made us feel most welcome. The location was excellent, very close to the bus line and underground, with easy access to local stores and restaurants. At the suggestion of Nic & Nicky, we had our first pints at the Mayflower Pub, and enjoyed our walk to the Tower Bridge. There was ample room for the six of us, and we enjoyed having the full kitchen facilities. We were very pleased. We joked to each other that we maybe shouldn't let others know about this gem, as it may limit its availability if/when we want to return!

A gorgeous house, everything we could have wanted or needed. Ideal location. Nic, Nicky and Lily were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us, felt like friends. They even spotted me jogging past in the London Marathon.

Would I stay there again? ABSOLUTELY I WOULD!

Perfect location, accommodations and hosts!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 8 stayed here for a family vacation. The location was perfect, just steps from the Canada Water Tube station. The home was very clean and well appointed. The hosts, Nic and Nicky, met us at the home and walked us through all necessary instructions.

There were plenty of toiletries, which came in handy as we had to pack light for our flight from Michigan. There was also plenty of pantry goods available if you decided to cook while there.

The accommodations worked great for our family. The first floor has a bedroom, bathroom and living area with a pull-out sofa. The second floor has the kitchen, eating area and living room. The third level has two bedrooms with a bathroom. The fourth floor has the master bedroom (very large!) and a private bathroom. Very comfortable beds and clean, spacious bathrooms.

We would definitely stay there again if we visit London in the future!

The Pump House is a charming converted water pumping station with original features, cobbles, towers and old rail tracks located in Rotherhithe - zone 2, which is very close to central London and close to the 2012 Olympic centre. There is a large courtyard with parking available. The house has a private walk way to the Canada Water tube station (Jubilee tube line), which is less than a minute from the front door. Canada water will give you direct access to Stratford station and the 2012 Olympic Park in 10 minutes.

You will also be 15 minutes from central London - Bond Street on the same tube line.

The property is positioned between Southwark Park to the south and the Thames River to the north.

The Mayflower and Angel Pub's are also with 5-10 minutes walk from the house on the River Thames. The Mayflower ship in 1620 and it's passengers were to become the most famous Americans ever, the Pilgrim Fathers.

The Brunel Museum is also close by and shows where the first River Thames Tunnel was constructed.
