  • 5 of 5

On arrival we were met by friendly, attentive hosts who had made sure the property was equipped with everything you could possible need for your stay. Cleanliness was of the highest standard. Attractively decorated in a modern country style. Superb enclosed garden overlooking unspoilt countryside, ideal for your dog! So, so peaceful!

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

The Cow Shed is a small cottage in a gorgeous rural setting. Hard to believe it is only a mile from Bridgnorth which is a fascinating little town with lots of pubs(dog friendly) and restaurants. Also near Ironbridge, Severn Valley Railway and Ludlow.

We received a warm welcome from the owners, Michael and Samantha, the welcome pack was a lovely surprise and generous, fresh flowers, wine and other essentials too. Our labradoodle was also welcomed by Mick with several tennis balls to play with in the large enclosed garden. They were the perfect hosts, on hand and friendly but respected our privacy.

The property itself is immaculate and well equipped, Sky TV and good wifi. We liked the wetroom with underfloor heating and the bed was comfortable. There were sun beds and garden furniture which we made good use of as the weather was perfect.

The Cow Shed was recommended to us by friends and we have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone wanting to visit this delightful county.

We will definitely be returning as there is still so much more to see in the area and we just love the Cow Shed.

Thank you Mick and Sam for a wonderful few days. We will be back!

Sue & Richard.

Great location.

  • 5 of 5

A mile outside Bridgenorth and you really are in the countryside. Lovely welcome package included a very nice Easter egg thank you.

The cow shed is cosy and comfy and is a perfect place for two. Lovely private patio to watch the sheep and listen to the birds.

Loved it. Would definitely rent again if in this area.

Perfect countryside retreat

  • 5 of 5

A perfect countryside retreat, with everything you need for a great break away. The welcome pack was just what was needed, and complimented the whole holiday package. On arrival we were greeted by the owners father as they were unfortunately away the weekend we arrived. He was very welcoming, and told us all we needed to know about the property and the local area. On their return, the owners introduced themselves and were perfect hosts, being available if we needed them, but very discreet and leaving us in peace otherwise, to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

There are plenty of local guide books etc. in the property giving info. on all the local places of interest. The Cow Shed is immaculately clean and has everything that you could possibly need to make yourselves at home. The outside decking area in the very private garden was ideal for early morning breakfast as it catches the early morning sun. Being only 1 mile outside of Bridgnorth, it was a pleasant stroll into town where there are lots of great shops and places to eat out. Once back at the property, it is so peaceful that you cannot believe that it is so close to town.

I can thoroughly recommend The Cow Shed, and we are already planning a return next year.
