Great Chalet. Very comfortable and well equipped. Owners good to deal with.

One week ski-ing at half-term. 4 adults 3 teenagers. The chalet is great. Comfortable. Well furnished. Well equipped. Warm, good hot water etc..Wi-fi was a little on the weak side which is an issue these days. The location is a quiet, away from Plagne 1800 (10 min walk) but that was ok for us. 100m walk and then a little cross country ski to get on the piste in morning. Able to ski the path into Crete Cote from Plagne 1800 in the afternoon so again a little 100m walk back to chalet. Ski area is very good. We especially enjoyed the runs in the Champagny area which is close.

Clean, well decorated chalet but a little isolated without your own transport.

  • 4 of 5

Newly built chalet. Well decorated and equipped. Plenty of room for 6-7 (3 bedrooms) but probably a bit tight for 9. Would give 5 stars but for relative isolation. We had poor snow so no ski in/out. Only 1 bus per hour to get to slopes but bus stop very close and just needed some planning. Walk to shop/ boulangerie about 20 mins each way. Otherwise great chalet and la plagne compares very well the 3 Valleys or Tignes.

Fabulous summer stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Chalet Rossa. Suzanne was incredibly helpful from the time we started making enquiries, through the booking process and our endless queries before our stay began. The chest freezer was really helpful for all the food we brought with.

The chalet is well appointed and looks exactly as in the pictures with no surprises. The location is also brilliant. Close enough to enjoy all the amenities in Plagne 1800 and Plagne Centre but also an oasis to get away from it all.

And the best thing.............the view from the balcony over Month Blanc in the morning!

Would thoroughly recommend.

A lovely chalet and good communication with the owner - very helpful

  • 5 of 5

Perfect for our needs, well equipped and warm with comfortable beds. The property was clean and exactly as shown in the photo's. Parking was generally easy, even with a minibus. Our deposit was refunded promptly and the owner has been very helpful. All in all a great place to stay, I would recommend this property to others.

Fantastic modern chalet, with great mountain views.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Chalet Rossa over the Easter week, and it was just perfect for our needs.

Great chalet, with fantastic views from the top balcony. The chalet was warm, with plenty of hot water (we never ran out), very comfortable beds/sofas etc, and a well equipment kitchen that had everything we needed. If you are a confident skier then the run down to the Roche chair is easy, just cross the road and straight onto the pisted track through the tress which leads onto the slopes just above the chairlift, perfect!. Crete Cote is a quiet area, but don't let that put you off as the free bus is so easy to catch, both in the morning to get to the slopes (and ski school) and if you wish to go out for dinner and drinks in the evening. We caught the snow train and it was very straightforward to get a taxi to the chalet, but there was parking spaces near if you require one. The owner of the Chalet was helpful throughout our stay, and access to the property was straightforward on arrival. We can recommend Oxygene ski school as both our children had a great time, and we would definitely stay in this chalet again as I can not fault it.

Great Holiday

  • 5 of 5

7 of us stayed at Chalet Rossa in January. We flew to Geneva and arranged a minibus transfer to the house. The journey took around 3 hours but included a 45 minute stop at a Supermarket to buy supplies for our stay.

The minibus driver knew the house and we were able to go directly there without having to collect keys.

The house was warm and well decorated. There was plentiful hot water and we had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the storage was OK. The garage was a great space for getting ready for the slopes with boot dryers and a ski rack. There was also a chest freezer which I wish we'd known about in advance.

The upstairs living area was fabulous. Its a large and comfy space and we were happy to spend evenings in the chalet. The view in the morning from the balcony was spectacular.

The only small complaint I have was that one towel per person did not seem adequate for the week.

For skiing, the first morning we took the navette to Plagne Centre to collect our ski hire. On subsequent days we found the track behind the bus stop and we were able to ski down a pisted track on to the red run "Andre Martolf".

We had good snow and great meals on the slopes every day. All in all a fantastic holiday.

I would definitely recommend this property.

Located on the outskirts of La Plagne 1800, the ski Chalet is one of a number of Demi-chalets which make up Crete Cote Village. The small scale development is just above the Olympic Bobsleigh Run, and is linked to the other La Plagne Villages by the free shuttle bus service which operates during the ski season.

La Plagne, in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley, is comprised of 10 small villages. The ski lifts connect the villages to one another and offer 225km of piste on the La Plagne lift pass. The Les Arcs resorts can be accessed by the Vanoise express cable car. This huge area of 425km of pistes is known as the Paradiski area.
