Dating back 350 years, this quintessentially English thatched cottage is simply the gift that keeps on giving. The owners have cleverly extended the cottage to provide a spacious holiday home with a sitting room complete with 2 comfy sofas, a large and sociable open plan kitchen and sitting room, and a light and bright conservatory dining room with stunning views across the valley.
Sleeping 6 guests in three bedrooms and two bathrooms, there is also a studio in the garden which is self-contained and can accommodate a further two guests on request (and an additional charge).
The garden is an exceptional feature of the cottage, fully enclosed and with great views across the rolling hills which can be enjoyed from the luxurious hot tub, or whilst sitting on the swing seat. There is ample garden furniture too for sunny BBQ lunches, or early evening cocktails.
The location of the cottage could not be more ideal as it sits within a triangle of great places to visit. All within easy reach in 15 to 30 minutes. To the North there is the transport hub of Ashford to whisk you to London or France, to the West is the beautiful Weald of Kent with lovely towns such as Tenterden and Cranbrook, and to the South is the historic coastal town of Rye and the stunning sand dunes of Camber.
