Lovely, clean and spacious fantastic views, very well equipped

  • 5 of 5

The property was lovely and accommodated 7 adults in our party very well.

The kitchen was adequately equipped.

The views of the sea were lovely although the road outside was very busy.

Parking was good although a bit tight!

Will definitely be staying again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. Seahaven is located on the main coastal road into the centre of Brighton and as result has the benefits of uninterrupted sea views from the house and garden and easy access to buses into Brighton, Seven Sisters and Eastbourne. I guess 4 or more cars parked in the driveway will be tight. On your return visit next February, I hope you and your family have a fantastic stay.

Great weekend by the water!

  • 5 of 5

We had an absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish! We were welcomed to the house with a home cooked meal and all the little things like bread, tea, and toast we would want. The house was beautiful and very clean. Everyone in our group slept very well and the beds were all comfortable! It was a short walk into the village for groceries and to the beach. When we wanted to go into Brighton the buses ran very frequently and stop right outside the house! We spent a lot of time in the backyard enjoying the weather. We had a lovely time and already want to come back again!

Great House Fantastic Stay

  • 5 of 5

we arrived at the property on Friday, Property was clean, well maintained and provided us with everything that we needed for our stay. There was milk/tea coffee provided which everyone was happy to see after a long drive. The sea view was excellent. and the nearest store was only a walk away. we stayed 2 nights and was very pleasant. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished along with the rest of the house. the property owner was very flexible with our needs and requirements.

we would definitely stay again

Gorgeous house in a brilliant location.

  • 5 of 5

We were given a friendly and relaxed welcome by the owner on the day of arrival and were made to feel at home straight away. We were left bread, butter, milk and a bottle of red wine, which we thought was a lovely touch and there was a wealth of information provided on the local area. The location is perfect for a short bus ride to Brighton and a short walk to Rottingdean where we found many great pubs and restaurants. The beach at Saltdean (10 mins walk) provided a great day out. The house is beautifully furnished, particularly the upstairs and is exactly as described.

We would definitely recommend Seahaven to anyone wanting to explore the area.

A great home away from home.

  • 4 of 5

Listing of the home was accurate. The one thing we weren't prepared for was it being on such a busy street and the traffic noise at night, but we did get used to it. Property was clean, well maintained and provided us with everything that we needed for our stay. Property Manager was there when we arrived, was very welcoming and gave us all the information that we asked for before leaving, as well as ensuring us that we were welcome to phone her if we needed anything. We very much appreciated having milk, bread and butter in the fridge upon our arrival. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodation in the area. There are a couple of things we would recommend be added for the comfort of the guests: extra towels (for 6 adults showering everyday, a few more would have been appreciated), also some beach towels/mats (travelling overseas we didn't have weight allowance to bring this kind of stuff with us). Also plenty of toilet paper for the duration of the stay was expected - not very costly but something you don't want to concern yourself when on vacation. Used the house as a home base for our week's stay in SE England so didn't spend a lot of time in Rottingdean. Enjoyed eating dinner there a couple of times and a day on the beach and the location to Brighton was perfect especially with the bus stopping right outside the door.

Komfortabel ausgestattetes Ferienhaus an bester Lage

  • 5 of 5
