Lovely 3 bedroom unit with excellent WiFi in the heart of intramuros St Malo

My family of 3 boys, husband and I stayed at this 3 bedroom unit in intramuros St Malo for 3 nights in July 2017. It was clean and comfortably furnished with a trendy retro fell. It was very secure. A couple of minutes walk from the trendy central shopping and eating area of intramuros St Malo. There was reliable, stable WiFi (essential for 3 connected teenagers and their parents!), laundry facilities in the kitchen, great hot water for showers. There are 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds and one with 4 bunks). St Malo is a wonderful city. The boys were like kids in a candy store with the complete ramparts surrounding the city and small forts on islands accessible at low tide - easy to imagine it as a hot spot for pirates and privateers. It was a breath of fresh air for them after interminable museums and palaces (poor dears!). St Malo is an easy 45 minute drive to Mont St Michel which was also a hit with the kids and with the whole family - it is an excellent destination from which to visit MSM. Guenhael was at all times prompt, courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend St Malo as a destination on your trip through Britanny and Normandy and would recommend Guenhael as a host and his apartment as accommodation.

Excellent

The flat was very conveniently placed and had all we wanted inside. It was spacious clean and well appointed.

We found two excellent restaurants, both of which were close enough to be seen from the windows of the flat.

We enjoyed our stay, but are still awaiting the return of our deposit.

A real treat!

This flat was just lovely - clean, charming and spacious - and the location was just perfect. Just steps out the door was a delightful square of cafes and shops. St. Malo was a real adventure, and this was the perfect place to come back to.

St Malo Apartment

We found this apartment on the HomeAway.co.uk website and had no difficulty at all organising our holiday with the owner who was extremely helpful throughout.The apartment(which is located within the walls of town) is exactly as it appears on the website and is an ideal location for a family holiday.We had a fabulous stay in St Malo which is a beautiful walled coastal town with gorgeous restaurants and a great atmosphere.The apartment is close to beaches,shops and has all the conveniences required for an ideal holiday in Brittany,Mont St Michel and even Jersey(1hr by ferry) are easily accessible form St Malo-a highly enjoyable holiday this year!

Super flat in wonderful location

I would definitely recommend this appartement. It is exactly as described, beautifully presented, very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. It felt like living in a friend's flat rather than holiday accommodation and nothing was lacking.

The location inside the walled intramuros town of St. Malo is wonderful, as is easy to find, in a lovely street with a great variety of excellent shops, cafes and restaurants very close by but it is calm. It was great to be able to wander down , explore this interesting " town" and walls and enjoy the atmosphere and facilities. It was ideal for our older children as they could be totally independent and they always had plenty to do.

Parking was a slight problem, but we found places outside the walls and a short walk away where it was easy and very cheap to park so this was fine. There was lots to do without using a car, including excellent coastal walks , exploring St Servan nearby

and all the family enjoyed taking the short boat ride across to Dinard. Dinan and Mont St. Michel were very accessible by car and great to visit. I would definitely like to return here.
