Fully renovated one-bedroom apartment in a traditional Craftsman-style California home built in 1912. Apartment opens onto a shared covered front porch with garden views. The main living area includes kitchen and dining, fold-out couch, and television with cable. The bedroom has a full-sized bed with desk and closet. A full bathroom with glass-tiled bathtub / shower is included. This cozy apartment is renovated in a traditional style with modern touches.
Silver Lake is our favorite neighborhood in Los Angeles. It is artsy, diverse, and centrally located.
We try to provide a clean, comfortable, and beautiful space. We look for tenants who are clean and know how to take care of their environment. We love to help our tenants make the most of their vacation!
The Reservior House was wonderful! We were very comfortable and enjoyed the vintage ambience. It's in a great location and had almost everything we needed. Since we had read that there's no coffee pot, we brought our own, so were fine. There's also a great bakery around the corner we went to several times for coffee and breakfast. It's close to many other fun restaurants and shops. We go to LA to visit our daughter several times a year and will definitely stay here again!
The listing was accurate, the apartment is very clean and in a great location, the owner gave excellent customer service; Amber communicated well and promptly and was accommodating with our requests. I would recommend this property to others. We had a great time in downtown LA. We enjoyed walking the hills through Silver Lake.
Just a couple notes of caution. The bed is a full-sized bed, not larger, so it took some getting used to. And we brought our own French press for coffee. There is no coffee maker provided.
We stayed at Amber's apartment.It was perfect for our needs. The apartment was very clean, safe, and walkable to restaurants and stores on Sunset Ave. Plenty of street parking. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to LA.
Amber was beyond courteous and very helpful to my friend and I. The apartment was better than the pictures. The location was beautiful, parking was not an issue at all. Amber made sure that we were comfortable, which was very appreciative since it was our first time visiting California. If you're looking for a nice cozy place, in a nice neighborhood, I recommend this place!
We stayed at Amber's apartment for three nights with our 19-month old son. It was perfect for our needs. The apartment was very clean, safe, and walkable to restaurants and stores on Sunset Ave. Plenty of street parking. Amber went out of her way to be accommodating, lending us a high chair and toys for our son. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to LA.
Before I even arrived Amber was good with communication and helpful with the process of signing forms and payment. Then once at the property Amber went out of her way to introduce herself and show us the small things we overlooked about the apartment.
The place is in a great location with plenty to offer within walking distance. Though we rented a car this past time since I had to travel outside of the city some while staying here, in the past we have stayed close by and used public transportation to get everywhere.
The Apartment has everything you could want for a comfortable stay. And has enough room where you don't feel crowded at all. The one thing that I noticed was how quiet the apartment and the neighborhood is. I did have one small issue and it was that the bed was a little stiffer than what I'm used to. This would hardly stop me from staying here again!

Just 10 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, 10 minutes from Hollywood, 25 minutes from the beach, 1 hour from the mountains, and 5 minutes from several freeways. A few steps away, our area offers great restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs and shops. Ten minutes away are museums and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. A 10-minute drive transports you to the largest park in Los Angeles: Griffith Park offers hiking, horseback riding, a train museum, a playground, a merry-go-round, pony rides, a golf course , a zoo, and The Gene Autrey Museum of Western Heritage. This apartment will be your tranquil home base in the heart of the fabulous and exciting Los Angeles basin, with easy access to the huge city around!
