Springwood Apartment is a luxurious one bedroom apartment within the stunning Grade B listed Springwood House. Built in 1870, this impressive Victorian villa is only a short walk from the city centre.

Set amidst stunning, mature gardens which offer an idyllic setting and complete privacy, you will be spoiled by its convenient yet quiet location. This apartment is quite unique and offers genuine charm and character; the ample sized dining table can comfortably sit 8 people giving you the benefit of entertaining in this magnificent room and the Poggenpohl designer kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances needed to ensure your stay is a comfortable one. The generous double bedroom is a beautiful, bright room and is set off by the front facing bay window and also a luxury en suite bathroom. This apartment also has a separate large bathroom.

A stay here will provide you with luxurious yet affordable accommodation and is an ideal base to explore Stirling City Centre and beyond.

Stirling is situated at the centre of Scotland and it has direct travel links to many of the major cities in Scotland – including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. There are many attractions in the local area, including, an historic castle which was believed to be the “key to Scotland” in medieval days, many nature walks and hill walking opportunities, numerous fine dining and entertainment establishments and the World’s only boat wheel – the Falkirk Wheel.

There are also many attractions for children all over the local area as well as shops, bakeries and sports opportunities galore as well as a fantastic safari park. There is also a microbrewery, golf course and fishing area should the adults wish to relax too!

Wonderful stay!

I loved my stay at Springwood. Had a bit of a learning curve with the appliances and electricity, but Mr. Bain was so kind and helpful. Great location to settle and then take day trips all over the country. If I ever go back, I would definitely stay here.

Lovely Accommodation

A great apartment, with everything you need in a very peaceful and beautiful garden setting. Close to the lovely Kings Park and a great location within walking distance of all that Stirling has to offer.Also a great base if you want to venture further into The Trossachs and visit the Kelpies and Falkirk wheel.

Like a stately home

This property is amazing, very spacious, everything supplied that is necessary for a visit to Stirling. The property was exactly as described, clean and well maintained. It is Within easy walking distance of the town centre, and old Stirling and the Castle. The shopping centre has all the usual shops and more. From Stirling we visited the Kelpies and the Falkirk wheel, only a 12 mile drive each way. Also a visit to Bannockburn with worthwhile. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Outstanding property!

My recent stay at Springwood was my fourth and it is hard to think of staying anywhere else when visiting Stirling. The apartment is huge, equipped with everything you could need for a short stay or hosting a grand dinner party! Cleanliness is second to none, communication with Stirling Self Catering excellent and payment and deposit refund seamless. While this property is in a block there is no noise transference at all. There is great security, allocated parking and the apartment sits amongst beautifully manicured gardens. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry, free wifi and ample storage for suitcases if you plan to unpack and stay a while! An easy 15 min walk into Stirling, with great views of the castle , Kings Park and some of Stirling's finest homes as you go makes it a pleasant experience. Heating is excellent and the welcome pack which is always provided is a thoughtful touch. Local supermarkets are happy to deliver if you do not have transport. A 10 minute stroll finds you at the Torbrex Inn which is a quaint Scottish pub with excellent food. Value for money is without question and if staying for an extended period Springwood House is so comfortable you can easily have a home day and feel truly relaxed. Only down side to all the comfort is sometimes you just don't want to leave!

Another fantastic stay!

This is our fourth stay at Springwood House and it is difficult to consider staying anywhere else when we visit family in Stirling. As always the apartment was immaculate, tea, coffee, milk and Scottish shortbread provided was a lovely and welcoming touch.

The only problem with this wonderful apartment is it is so comfortable , spacious and inviting its hard to leave ! Communication, payment and deposit refund all seamless. I would most certainly highly recommend this wonderful apartment and indeed many family members have subsequently enjoyed a stay at Springwood

Almost perfect

The apartment was really something special let down only by the condition of the pots & we had to wash them before use. The shower door was in need of repair as it was difficult to open from inside. Having said this it would not stop us from returning in the future.

  • This price is fully inclusive of all heating, electricity,towels, linen and a small welcome pack on arrival. There is a small additional charge of £15 per night for use of the sofa bed.



    At end of your stay, the good housekeeping deposit is refunded onto the card used to make the balance payment. Please ensure that this card is valid beyond your departure date to enable this refund. Failure to use a card valid beyond departure date will incur bank charges to process the refund to International bank accounts.



    Please note that if your booking is placed less than 6 weeks before arrival date full payment must be made on booking.

    BY BOOKING AND MAKING PAYMENT YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT/CANCELLATION :



    Deposit, security payment and payment



    1. A 25% non refundable deposit has been made by you. This is to secure your booking and represents a booking that will be fully confirmed on receipt of the remainder of the letting fee before or on the date given above.

    2. Confirmation of the booking will normally be made to you within seven days of receipt of the full payment.

    3. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to the rental period.

    4. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the rental period, full payment plus a breakages/damage deposit is required to secure the booking.

    5. A refundable breakages/damages deposit has been made. This is to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the apartment. It will be returned after the rental period following a complete and satisfactory check of the inventory and property.This can take up to 7 days to show in your account.

    6. Full details of how to get to the house and where the key can be collected will be sent to the person making the booking after full payment has been received and no sooner than 2 weeks before the date of entry.

    7. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.



    Changes to the booking dates



    1. Any change can be made to the booking (subject to availability) before 6 weeks with no charges. However changes may be subject to necessary changes in rental period charges

    2. Any changes to bookings made with less than 6 weeks to booking are made at the owner's discretion and subject to necessary changes in rental period charges.

    3. All changes made with less than 6 weeks to the rental period are subject to a standard charge of £50 or currency equivalent.



    Cancellation Charges



    The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed.

    Cancellation must be made in writing.

    Cancellation charges are as follows

    Less than 6 weeks – loss of total rental value, however good housekeeping deposit will be returned.

    More than 6 weeks - loss of 25% non refundable deposit made on booking.



    Please Note: if the owners are able to re-book the cancelled weeks, there will only be a £50 administration charge made, irrespective of when the booking is cancelled.

  • Contractual booking deposit: 25.00% rent
  • Damage deposit: £75.00
