Springwood Apartment is a luxurious one bedroom apartment within the stunning Grade B listed Springwood House. Built in 1870, this impressive Victorian villa is only a short walk from the city centre.
Set amidst stunning, mature gardens which offer an idyllic setting and complete privacy, you will be spoiled by its convenient yet quiet location. This apartment is quite unique and offers genuine charm and character; the ample sized dining table can comfortably sit 8 people giving you the benefit of entertaining in this magnificent room and the Poggenpohl designer kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances needed to ensure your stay is a comfortable one. The generous double bedroom is a beautiful, bright room and is set off by the front facing bay window and also a luxury en suite bathroom. This apartment also has a separate large bathroom.
A stay here will provide you with luxurious yet affordable accommodation and is an ideal base to explore Stirling City Centre and beyond.
Stirling is situated at the centre of Scotland and it has direct travel links to many of the major cities in Scotland – including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. There are many attractions in the local area, including, an historic castle which was believed to be the “key to Scotland” in medieval days, many nature walks and hill walking opportunities, numerous fine dining and entertainment establishments and the World’s only boat wheel – the Falkirk Wheel.
There are also many attractions for children all over the local area as well as shops, bakeries and sports opportunities galore as well as a fantastic safari park. There is also a microbrewery, golf course and fishing area should the adults wish to relax too!
As before Springwood did not disappoint. It was cosy and warm which was very important as the weather was quite wintry. One of the other important things for us is that it is also very quiet and peaceful.
We will definitely not hesitate to book Springwood Apartment again in the future.
The accommodation is in a great location for either a relaxing break or sightseeing holiday. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, and I would recommend it to others. I will definitely be going back next year.
The apartment is very accessible from Stirling town centre and motorway.
I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and didn't hear any noise from the other properties within the building. There were plenty of parking spaces available, and the apartment was extremely well equipped.
I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a relaxing break and I will definitely stay there again.
Situated in the midst of the major sites, with easy access. In an upscale neighborhood, next to a park, within walking distance of town and shopping. We found the apartment to be clean and well appointed. Our host was friendly and helpful. One of our favorites on our trip. Would definitely recommend!
The apartment had everything we needed and more! Very spacious for a 1 bedroom apartment almost felt bigger than my house! Within a gorgeous old building the apartment is stunning, very period to match the building it's within.

Amazing spacious apartment that has everything you could need and more. We were actually amazed at the size of it, we could have easily stayed there much longer. So much better than staying in a hotel! Very nicely decorated to match the gorgeous building it is within. Was easy walking distance to the town centre and to Kingspark for nice walks. The company were very easy and lovely to deal with, I would definitely recommend and stay again.
Springwood Apartment is close to the very heart of Stirling City centre; a two minute walk to all the attractions within the historic City: the magnificent Castle and rich Scottish heritage centre, the Old City Jail and the Tolbooth. The historical Bannockburn Heritage Centre is only a 20-minute walk from the city centre; there is a good selection of pubs and restaurants in the area.Wallace’s monument is a 2 min drive; on the way, stop off and visit the Old Stirling Bridge.
The surrounding countryside is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts: walking, cycling and paragliding are all on offer on the nearby Ochil Hills. Slightly further :The Trossachs, Callander, Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow and Edinburgh providing, therefore, the ideal central touring base for your holiday.
Golf being available at every turn: Kings Park’s own course and at least another five within Falkirk district, a 15 min drive away. Slightly further afield are the world famous Gleneagles and St Andrew’s Old Cours
