My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-term management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform.
Brick Lane under 5-minutes walk away is awesome. (Cereal Killer Café and the famous 24 Hour Bagel shops are towards the top of the road)
Personal favourties things to do nearby include Jack the Ripper Tour, Graffiti and Street Art Tour. Sky Gardens, The Childhood Museum, Spitalfields Market, and the famous Columbia Road Flower Market.
One of London’s coolest neighbourhoods, Shoreditch is popular with young, trendy, creative-types — and you certainly won’t run out of things to do here.
The neighbourhood is full of colourful street art and bustling food markets, and there is always one pop up or another (if you’re visiting in the summer, Last Days of Shoreditch puts on a great urban beach and bar) as well as the regular great spots. Great Eastern Street is constantly filling up with new restaurants and cafes and Rivington Street is a safe bet for trendy shops and bars.
For a shabby-chic pub, the Commercial Tavern is a great spot and as eccentric as you might expect from its location. Those in the know, head to St. John Bread and Wine for classic ‘nose-to-tail’ dining and a buzzy atmosphere. Check out Nightjar for a funky jazz night in a basement speakeasy, serving imaginative cocktails in all sorts of interesting drinking vessels (pewter owl pitchers and ceramic flasks are just a couple of examples).
As is inevitable in a city like London, Shoreditch is always changing - but that’s what makes it so exciting!
Aldgate East underground is just an 8-minute walk away making my home the ideal base for exploring London
