A traditional stone house with large salt water pool and separate small guest house set amongst vineyards. A large terrace with BBQ and extensive lawned garden areas. The house has been sensitively extended from the original barn and restored to create a rustic blend of old and new. Old terracotta floor tiles, beams and a log fire contrast with a steel and stone kitchen with large old wood table. The wysteria covered terrace and a gravelled area has two tables that can be easily moved for meals with trees providing sun and shade, suitable for relaxing and eating outdoors. Lawned areas by the terrace and pool are bordered by indigenous grasses and wild flowers. The house was converted and extended in 2002. Whilst having amenities the house is designed as a rustic country cottage in traditional style. The large salt swimming pool is bordered by stone and a large lawned area. The closely adjoining guest house with wet room is adjacent to the pool a few steps from the main house.
The house is secluded set on a quiet lane which leads to the few private houses nearby and has a generally peaceful rural atmosphere. The property is set in agricultural land and there are views to vineyards, olive trees and hills. Occasional work on the surrounding land includes the grape and olive harvests in the autumn. Secluded with tress giving privacy and with open views across the valley to hills. A small neighbouring cabanon is used for occasional recreation during the day.
This is a rustic, rural retreat suited to those who appreciate the natural environment and enjoy privacy.

There is a supermarket about 7 minutes drive from the house. There are local markets most days in the many nearby villages and in Cotignac on Tuesday.
