Ground Floor - stately dining room with open hearth (wood/coal) in good working order. Massive kitchen with AGA style cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, drier and seating for 8.
First Floor - elegant sitting room with 160 degree sea views from Annet in the west to St Martins in the north east, with spectacular sunsets from March to October. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and additional single bedroom. Coal fire in upstairs sitting currently replaced with electric alternative following issues with the chimney.
Second Floor - two light and spacious twin rooms with dormer windows on both north and south sides (capacity for a third bed in one). Bathroom, with separate toilet.
There is an extensive library including natural history, archaeology, art and Scillionian local interest publications.
There is a private garden in a former gun battery, with barbecue and easy access to rocky foreshore.
WiFi, electric heating through and linen all provided in the price. However, the wifi is patchy and works best in the dining room.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept families with dogs.
