A Perfect Place to Relax, Chill Out and enjoy the wonderful ocean view

Casa Helen is situated in the north of Tenerife in a beautiful, unspoilt village called El Sauzal. The views are breathtaking. The Atlantic Ocean, Puerto de la Cruz and very often La Palma can be seen.

Casa Helen is completely self contained-everything you could possible need and more. There are 2 beautiful double bedrooms, both with king size beds and double wardrobes.Both bedrooms have a TV.

The bathroom has a hydromassage shower.

The front bedroom has wonderful sea views and looks over the large swimming pool.

The second bedroom also has fantastic sea views and its own patio area where you can sit and relax,perfect for reading or enjoying a glass of Spanish wine!.

The kitchen is fully equipped-electric oven and hob,a dishwasher, wine cooler etc.There is a rectangular style private pool, 4 metres by 6 metres, a large terrace area with high quality patio furniture. There is also a BBQ where you can sit out in the evening alfresco and enjoy your meal looking over the sea.

And for those who enjoy sports, there is a pool table, darts board and football game.

Casa Helen has been made to be as luxurious and as homely as possible. It’s a beautiful and peaceful area with stunning views.

The climate in Tenerife is wonderful and we are lucky to have a mild warm climate almost all year round. Whether you want to go sightseeing, play golf, go to the beach or just relax by the pool, here you have it all.

A minutes walk away from Casa Helen there is a good fish restaurant, Los Angeles, which is famous for it's,' Pescado a la Sal', salted fish cooked in the oven- (50 metres away). La Ermita, another very good restaurant is also within a short walking distance.

The village of Sauzal is 500 metres away, there you will find more restaurants, bars with large terraces, an indoor market that is open 7 days a week-they sell fresh fruit/veg, meat, bread, cheese. Small supermarkets, chemist, bakery etc.

It is a wonderful place to relax and there are many places to visit. Sauzal also has an auditorium where they often have concerts and shows. La Casa del Vino (the wine museum and restaurant) is well worth a visit if you enjoy wine!

It is a 10/15 minute drive to Puerto de la Cruz which has 2 beaches and the famous Lido Martianez which is a complex of fresh salt water pools. The Loro Park is also in Puerto de la Cruz and it a MUST!

Santa Cruz, is a 20 minute drive away where there is a wonderful golden sandy beach, Las Teresitas -1.5 km long.

Fantastic property

We booked this property based on the huge number of positive reviews and we're not disappointed. The property was extremely well equipped and clean. It was in a good location and the views of the sunset every night were stunning. We spent quite a lot of time at the property due to it being so comfortable and well equipped. Helen was a great host and the welcome pack provided was superb. A visit up El Teide is a must!

The climate in Tenerife is wonderful and we are lucky to have a mild warm climate almost all year round. Whether you want to go sightseeing, play golf, go to the beach or just relax by the pool, here you have it all.

Sauzal is a wonderful location, it is a 10 minute drive to Puerto de la Cruz, where you have many different things to choose from, shops,night-life, El Loro Parque (The Parrot Park).

And 20 minutes from the capital, Santa Cruz. There you have a wonderful beach, shops, many bars and restaurants etc. The fiestas of El Sauzal are in June/ July, you can enjoy 2 weeks of live music, concerts, dances, shows, competitions and typical food and wine.

There is a concert hall. Small museums. Great restaurants and bars. A gymnasium, which has tennis, paddle, football, aerobics etc.

La Casa del Vino-wine museum and restaurant with a large veranda where you can have a glass of wine while enjoying the marvellous views.
