Ty Cosy is located on the edge of the market town of Holywell, famous for its "Holy Well" . The compact apartment is separate from the owners property and has its own private garden area with patio for you to take in those views of the Dee estuary, Liverpool and (on a really clear day - the famous Blackpool tower. Backing onto open fields this property has peace and quiet to offer but with the convenience of being a 10 min walk from the town centre.with supermarkets, shops cafes, butchers, bakers and candle stick sellers! (although we haven't found any makers - yet) There are takeaways, restaurants, pubs, just about everything you need for your stay.
It has a kitchen area with hob, oven, microwave, sink, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery suitable for both long and short breaks, a breakfast bar on which to eat and absorb the views through the large patio doors, a sofa and footstool for two to curl up and watch the TV. It has free view TV and Free WiFi
Ty Cosy has a separate bedroom with double bed (kingsize duvet) and wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is also an en suite shower room. Central heating and double glazing to keep you snug during your stay, and bedding and towels are also provided, as is an alarm clock, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
Ty Cosy is perfectly situated to explore all of North Wales delights, with loads on the doorstep, incluing mountain walks, Greenfield valley where you will find beautiful woodland walks, the large lakes used for the milling industry now used by the swans and visitors to enjoy and the Abbey ruins. Of course the famous "Lourdes of Wales" St Winefred's Holy Well is supposed to have healed many visitors who have travelled miles to bathe in the holy water. The coast is just 20mins away, Flint train station with free parking 10mins away with access to all of the North Wales coastal towns, Liverpool and Manchester both being around an hour, by either train or car and Chester is also around 25 mins away. For the visitors who like to shop, Broughton has some very well known shops, and an IMAX cinema, and Cheshire Oaks the designer outlet village is only 30mins away. For other leisure facilities there is a large swimming pool and Gym in Holywell, Flint has bowling, Deeside a great Ice skating rink (where Torville and Dean used to practice their famous dance!) Oh and did I mention walking Ty Cosy is perfect for that as well and the Blue Bell Inn in Halkyn has organised walks across the stunning Halkyn Mountain every weekend. If you are booking to explore then you may need to book several nights to see everything in the area!
