Water's Edge is a large, 5 bedroom detached sea front house with good sized feature garden. The owner has spent the summer of 2011 refurbishing much of the property and it benefits from 3 new bathrooms. A large master bedroom with en suite shower room. There is a large games room with table football, a pool table, Play station 1 with games and a TV with Freeview, DVD and video with a good selection of games. There is a large raised decked area in the garden with table and chairs. Enjoy alfresco dining overlooking the beach and sea! Off road parking for 4 to 5 cars. Beach front house with holidays in mind. Short breaks are available, but only at short notice between April and October. Wi-Fi included!

Large ground floor games room with sofa bed and separate WC with basin. Large kitchen with adjacent utility room with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Beach facing dining room and adjacent snug with open fireplace and colour TV. Door to garden. Family bathroom with Bath, separate shower, WC and basin. 4 bedrooms on first floor. The Master bedroom is a double and has a luxury shower room with 1200 shower, WC and basin. A good sized bedroom with 4 single beds and a further 2 double bedrooms with sea views. 2 TVs which can be used in any bedroom as required. Further family bathroom with WC, basin and bath with hand held shower. Fantastic lounge with great sea views. Telescope, additional small dining area, new 40in LCD flat screen TV with DVD and Freeview. Lovely attic double bedroom with those views again!

Fantastic location, perfect property for a group!

We arranged a stay for a group of experienced Barbecuers to have a weekend by the beach of good food.

This property surpassed our expectations. Location is amazing, literally there is a gate at the bottom of the garden which opens onto the beach. Picturesque and relaxing.

The garden (and beach) are perfect for barbecues/picnics/relaxation

The House inside is deceptively huge, with 6 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a dining room 4/5 bathrooms overall and a large kitchen. All well- maintained throughout.

We had a great time here.

It was easy to book. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a stay close to the coast.

Set right on the sea front with only the beach and dunes between you and the ocean Waters Edge in Greatstone-On-Sea is located between the old hilltop historic town of Rye to the West with its cobbled streets and antique shops and the Ancient Cinque Port town of Hythe to the East. Hythe has a lovely town centre and you can hire rowing boats on the Royal Military Canal, dug to keep out Napoleon Bonaparte. Greatstone offers a small range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Pilot, about a mile or so from the house, is one of Kent's best fish and chip restaurants and I have been many times! New Romney is the nearest town, some 2 miles away and offers a range of facilities that you would expect from a small town such as a good supermarket, bank, shops and restaurants. The Lovely Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch miniature steam railway will take you into Hythe. Other options away from the beach are Port Lympe Zoo and the Designer Outlet at Ashford.

Golf: With Kent hosting the St Andrews Golf Open in 2011 there is a wide variety of nearly 100 top courses across the county to choose from. Kent hosts some of the most varied golf courses in the country with such varied landscape, deep woodland parks rich in wildlife, wide open coastal regions and rolling hills it has been chosen for many major championship events. Royal St Georges Golf Club and Princes Golf Club in Sandwich being two of the most prestigious courses in the UK.

Two Golf Clubs are located within 5 minutes drive of the property.
